  • How are Everton doing, signed any Wigan players for silly money yet?

  • What's your point helmet?

  • My point is that you keep harping on about teams other people support whilst making bold statements about your own without ever following them through. I also find it funny that you got the manager you didn't want and that said manager is raiding his former club who got relegated as he doesn't do defence. That's kind of my point, you helmet.

  • Hahaha, you do bring a certain... tone to the thread, Pisti. And that's meant in the most objective way possible.

  • In other more interesting news, I'll just post this here before Corny does:

    http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/aug/29/erik-lamela-tottenham-totti

Another one for the Spurs-transfers circle wank :)

  • Anyone that thinks that Roman wasn't the start and the cause of modern day football being fucked then they need to give their head a wobble

The Premiership being formed in '92, Sky and him...all in that order have bred a plethora of helmets who can pick and choose their allegiances based on who's got the most money. It's fucked, has been for years and I'd be equally happy(well not quite) watching Conference football

If the gruesome twosome go to the theatre of shite then you'll be watching conference players, because Kenwright won't give Martinez any of the money generated.

  • manure trolls ?

  • League Cup draw against Swansea. That's us then

  • Pisti in 'Neverton are a historic club' shocker

    for those who care

  • not quite as much interest as yesterdays champions league draw

  • United have no pull in the market, do they??

  • That'd be because there's not that many exciting teams in at this stage.
Swansea vs. Valencia and Lyon vs. Real Betis are the ones I'm looking forward to most.

    Top trolling UEFA.

  • Wow, Wigan, Swansea and Spurs as our Europa League reps.

English football has gone to the dogs.

    Where's the history?

  • Looking at Spurs group, have a feeling we should get through easily, maybe Tromso might give us some trouble and if Anzhi keep some of the players on big wages could be hard times there, but I'm hoping with a relatively easy (at first look) group we should be able to coast through and be able to concentrate our big boy firepower for the league, blooding youngsters along the way...

Mediocre trolling again. Bored at work?

  • John H, you may need to read up on your plastic history to see where Spurs rank in the sepia toned tomes of english football's participation in european competition..

or better yet, start reading up on FC Toronto's storied exploits, in whatever cup they'll be kicking a field goal in during your stay across the atlantic..

I'll be very upset if we don't finish top of that group.

  • Swansea (England):

    Top trolling UEFA.

To be fair Swansea, like Cardiff and Carlisle (Are they in Scotland? Are htye in the league?) play in the English league, the Welsh league has a seperate entry place, though seeding means they won't see European football for a while

  • Carlisle is in England (just).

That'll be the MLS Cup, the Canadian Championship, and of course the CONCACAF Champions League

The Montreal Impact took the Canadian Championship this year, and thus qualified for the Champions League, but we'll be back next year...
