I hope football goes bankrupt.
Although I went to Dulwich Hamlet on Sat and hugely enjoyed it. I thought the football was pretty good.
Got a good seat on the halfway and could happily booze all the way through the game.

Mike: that's bollocks. Visual representations of data are important.

Anyway. Barca's shortlist consists of Luiz, Vertonghen and Agger.
Considering Luiz is not for sale and Agger is a donkey I reckon they'll end up with Vertonghen on the 2nd September at 11.59pm.
Does anyone need a graph for that?

A lot of City fans think there is a pro-United and an Anti-City bias in the mainstream media. Journos call such fans paranoid etc, but have a read of this....

Informed sources say that Benitez has not been contacted by Chelsea nor has he contacted them. Unlikely that RDM would have been sacked without a stand in waiting in the wings.
Eddie Newton is the most likely. Ray Wilkins an outside possibility.
Can anyone point to a time when cornie's thoughts (not plagiarised writings) about football and position and players have been correct?
Or anyone on here's really?

For the Derby rabble; is Will Hughes any good, LFC have been linked with him... worth 7mil?
-
• #85610
Yes. He's good. He gets better the more is written about him.

Really we should be getting much more than £7m for him. Especially if your lot want him. He is worth a lot more than Henderson, so whatever you get for Suarez should help towards the cost of Hughes.
He's been linked with all the top teams and Liverpool. Unfortunately, although he is an intelligent fella with a great amound of skill and prospect, he seems to have fallen into the plastic kopite trap and he has mentioned he has supported Liverpool in the past. I'd rather he stayed with us for at least one more season before being sold.

talk of loaning him back to you for the season as a long term replacement for StevieG
FSG have learnt about being ripped now.. Comloloi got binned and rightly so

Robbie Savage, good enough in his youth to earn an apprenticeship at Old Trafford, advances the view that the capture of Rooney would guarantee the championship for Chelsea. Gary Neville, a player of greater authority than Savage, believes United cannot afford to let Rooney go.
So the authority of a pundit is based upon his connection to Old Trafford?

Downing to West Ham.
Move of the season. No hope for Liverpool now.

^^^ You've read the same piece of crap journo nonsense then. I think it was in the Daily Star wasn't it?
He's nothing like Gerrard as a player or a person thankfully. He won't ping a pass from one end of the pitch and hope Johnson will be quick enough to catch the ball before it goes out of play. He actually plays an intelligent pass and has shown he can roll through defences with the ball stuck to his foot.
The loan thing is the latest craze for prem clubs buying young championship players. £7m is way below what the club knows we can get for him. If he got his name on the score sheet more his tabloid value would be sky high, but he's not that sort of player.

Liverpool have made a total loss of £37.5m on Downing, Adam & Carroll. The trio made 146 league apps scoring 11 goals.
My goodness me.
-
• #85622
And before you start Torres has made 82 League appearances and scored 15 goals and a total of 131 appearances scoring 34 goals and, if speculation is correct, he would still make at leat £25 million on the transfer market which equates to a loss of £25 million.

Liverpool thread still going strong.
Even when we are not talking about Liverpool, we are talking about Liverpool -
