Another Conference fan? Cambridge United here... How'd you rate your chances for the coming season?
It's going to be a long and tough season, and a bit of a wake-up call after three promotions in three years. Saying that, a lot of people thought the Conference North would be where we ran out of steam, so just to have reached the Conference again is brilliant. Staying up has to be the target, anything else a bonus. I think through the last few seasons we've been the rich kids of the league, suddenly we've reached the level where everyone else is full-time and much fitter and better paid.

"Beauty Pageant Competitor" is now a job title?
It is on my CV.
"I work well on my own and equally well in a (double) team"

It does say she is a sales assistant in a clothes shop, to be fair to her. And seeing is the story is about her (allegedly) being beaten up, why is it her that's now being mocked rather than the (alleged) two-time woman beater who is further besmirching LFC's reputation?
You're right- if it is proved that was a victim. However, I've met/seen far too many women whom after going through such an ordeal will decide to "stand by their man"; to the point an altercation is taking place on the street you get involved to stop her from gettin more of a slap then when the cops turn up she'll testify against you!
(Speculation of course but) sadly for someone with pageantry on their CV, the perks of hanging around with such a bloke are far too valuable....until she's getting cock from the next up and cumming youth teamer.

Anyone care to comment on the Charity Shield?
First silverware of many for Moyes or the only bit of tin he will ever see? -

He's won more in 2 months at Manure than he has in 11 years at Everton.

Had at least 3 mates post that ^ video to my Facebook, thinking they were comedic geniuses.
Would still take him over Wenger any day.

CliveHOHOHO!
Think you may have got it twisted, you being a twatterer and all, would realise the speed with which rumour and supposition becomes "fact". From what I can gather he was playing in a behind closed doors friendly, to keep fit should some club come in for him. Scorers for Spurs were Soldado, Lennon, Siggurdson and someone else..
He wasn't even playing in the game... it was behind closed doors as you were testing out your weak as piss defence against enfield town

We looked good for the first thirty mins against espanyol. Think we may have bought in Capoue as central defender cover as he played there at the beginning of the year.
Good to see Kaboom and Sandro make a return to first team action, and Townsend looked like he was ready to bring that QPR loan form into the side as well. Best of a good bunch was Soldado who looked like a striker ready to score goals, intelligent runs, on the last defenders shoulder, coolly taken penalty.. -

Free beer tomorrow.....
I think I am in love with Rhys Murphy - he is our new Paul Benson - 2 goals in 2 games.
The first time Daggers have won at home in 6 months. I don't think we will need the same number of points as last season, so 3 down, 47 to go.
