But it is bad when your chairman hangs on to the last minute and prevents the manager from buying anyone to replace. Getting money is one thing, freeing up to buy assets in time, and without a premium, is another.

Real Madrid always do their business towards the end of the transfer window though, especially for European based players. It's very hard to pick on Levy when the Real take their fucking time and make players perform in the "I want to play for Real" Noh Dance.
