Given this^ twat's disgraceful hints about Wenger being a peadophille I'd have expected to see Wenger's face instead.

Is anyone else picking up on the collective yawn that surrounds Mourinho's return? The general tone seems to be one big "Meh." Too early or too sunny outside?

I know, I mean sponsoring Liverpool???

Typical championship outfit - next year they might have league status to match their kit.

Surely Liverpool should be wearing an 80's revival kit, not a 90's one?

Championship? Rugby League more like.

Navas was a key part of the Sevilla team that won the Uefa Cup in 2006 and 2007 but he was unable to take up a place in the Spain squad for many years because of fears about travelling away from his Andalusian home.
A quick and direct right winger, he has been criticised for his lack of goals and failed to find the net in 37 league appearance last term.Cracking signing, Tevez MK2

making the kit and mucho dollar.. not that tricky but this seasons 2nd and 3rd kit might hamper the profit margin somewhat... Saying that I did see some melts in the purple tribal kit in the last 2 seasons

Harsh, by all accounts Navas is a really nice guy, and I think in his case it is genuine homesickness, rather than home$ickne$$

OK, maybe not Tevez levels but the odd international is different to freezing your tits off in Manchester isn't it

Navas, was one of the the most effective wingers in La Liga.
Sid Lowe's bit
The 27-year-old believes he is ready to move abroad having fully overcome the anxiety attacks that marked the early stages of his career. His initial introduction to the Spain squad was delayed because of the problems he encountered when leaving his native Seville, but with the club and the national team working with him he was a member of the side at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and at last summer's European Championship in Ukraine. He has 23 caps.
Navas will bring City pace on the right wing, the ability to take on full-backs and deliver telling passes. He has provided 79 chances in the Spanish league this season, the fifth highest total in the country.

Well done!
Any time you can't go, give me a shout ;)

Navas is a quality player. Not sure if he's cut out for the PL and with his Seville roots I can't see him settle in the NW. The boy is a gypsy and I just can't see it work for him outside Andalucia. At 26 he needs to earn his pension and no place better to do that than at Man City but he's gonna find it tough.
I'd bet on a loan move back to Seville in the January transfer window.

Im not doubting his skill - he commanded a place in one of the greatest national team squads ever. But he is not suited mentally to playing in Manchester and I don't think he is the player I would have signed.
I'm glad he will come and play here in England. For a long time I thought he would come to Arsenal, when he burst onto the scene with diego capel but the issues with his homesickness prevented the transfer so I look forward to seeing him play.

Looks like we will be wrapping up a deal for Julio Cesar - I'm not overly fussed but he is experienced and will provide a challenge to sceznecyeyssyeycey, who looked a little complacent at times this year.
Only on the first part.
I think you could be right about the second. I love Manchester, but it's not Spain. Seems like the kind of place that could really exacerbate homesickness in someone coming from Seville.
