Not true, they were superb for most of last season. Solid at the back, creative in midfield and dangerous up front. Mancini's tinkering / poor man management / Kompany's loss of form has undermined this.

I wasn't saying they have never played well, rather they don't seem to have had any strategic direction. Last year Mancini often turned to bringing on De Jong to free up Silva, Y. Toure with success, but now what does he do when shear skill doesn't produce goals?

Providing you repeat that often enough you might actually start believing it.
BR was first choice, he rejected the first talks.. then we interviewed martinez, then we got BR, he's who fsg wanted apparently

govt get to tell football clubs they have to operate within financial regulations to remain solvent. can we legislate so that our govt has to do the same?

Ace goal by Gareth Barry
And to think, Rafa wanted to take him to Anfield and fuck Alonso off to anyone who wanted him?!

Yes. Get in.
This team makes me so nervous I have to wait till 5 mins after the game has finished to be sure we won't concede.

Great result. Thought you looked much more offensive after the subs and had a much better shape.
Bent for Weiener man from now to give him some matches to get into form. Interesting to see Dawkins but he didn't reallly do too much and should of got a shot off rather than taking a dive.

Heitinga, Neville and Naismith should never play for Everton again
Unfortunately our cunt of a chairman means they will and with that Moyes, Fellaini and Baines are all fuckin off come July

i'm surprised no one has raised the financial fair play thing that was agreed by the premiershit teams yesterday
maximum £105mn loss over the next 3 years otherwise points will be deducted
so what will chelsea and city do after year 1 once they've reached their limit ? hopefully the points deduction will be hefty...and they did nothing to keep ticket prices for fans reasonable.

• #75966
Shall we think about how much money goes on salaries? Players, managers, back room staff, etc. and so on.
And you still think ticket prices can be kept at 10 quid? Really?
Theswissramble is good for this stuff.

or he's bringing in pope benedict to shake up the youth team / reserves ?
Mancini's never looked convincing. City have never had a discernible method to their play; beyond just relying on creativity in the final 3rd.
