i'm surprised no one has raised the financial fair play thing that was agreed by the premiershit teams yesterday
maximum £105mn loss over the next 3 years otherwise points will be deducted
so what will chelsea and city do after year 1 once they've reached their limit ? hopefully the points deduction will be hefty -

Careful what you wish for dicki - do you really thank that a small organisation like the PL are able to do what governments all over the world can't?

Besides, Chelsea made a profit last year *
*Dunno how they hid Torres on the balance sheet
-
• #75930
Although he's pretty good at hiding on the pitch.

There will be, as always, hundreds of ways to circumvene rules and regulations. The ones set out by UEFA/FIFA/EPL/FREEMASONS/LIZARDS will be no different.

Benny to be sacked today and replaced by Martinez lol if you fail to win. He will oversee Chelseas return to the second division with style

Except of course, the debate is about today's performance and so the past few years are key. In any event, Lampard's performance in earlier years also exceded that of Gerrrard - except in the GBH and cuckold departments.
I would definitely take Lampard at UTD if Chelsea bin him at the end of the season, still a classy player who can win you games and will be for at least a couple of years.

Not gonna happen, btw your trolling is still shit, just like your beloved club, yes that one, the one that Martinez turned down last summer.

• #75935
Nope we turned him down

Providing you repeat that often enough you might actually start believing it.

dicki. Be careful. Liverpool were one of the Premier Leagues greatest offenders and always have been. Subsidies bought their history.

On the telle there was a grown man holding a hand written sign saying "We wont you to stay Frank Lampard"

Not going to happen after Owen.

Lampard has been a great player for chelsea, but he's more or less the reason england have been such a shitty mediocre side for a decade.
He's one of the best goal scorers from mid range, and his assist won the CL, but he never warranted having the national side built around him and gerrard. Particularly at the expense of playing scholes.
I don't care much for england, but his national record is so poor it demonstrates that he isn't all he's made out to be.
-
• #75941
He's better than Jordan Henderson though
-
• #75942
Bit harsh to blame the mediocrity from the entire England football team of the last 10+ years on one player. I won't even start about the lack of planning, vision and team building by the various managers. The national team job is as toxic as the Chelsea job.

Do you think Manchini will last the season?

Silva off for maicon again, what's going on?

Mancini's tinkering will be his undoing. Bizarre tactical switches, poor man management and some truly terrible signings that did nothing to address the deficiencies in his squad. Without even moving out of second gear United look to have it sewn up already.
