Apparently its because he has too much media attention on him, rather than the union doesn't agree with what he did. What I don't understand is why he is now going to lose out on his match fee?
Something amiss.

(1) Are you saying that you have always, 100%, done everything to meet your potential, and never done anything to compromise that?
Nobody really does. Most of us use our talent and a minimum effort to get by. He on the other hand has failed to get by despite his talent.
(2) Is it compulsory to make the most of your football career if you have a bit of talent? What if he did not enjoy it much, is he not allowed to quit?
He didn't quit tho, he was sacked wasn't he?
(3) How bad were his injuries? Did he know he would never be the player he could have been? Did he know injuries would force him to quit? Did his injuries force him to quit?
This is entirely possible and in my view quite likely. By quit I am thinking more; took his wages, fucked off training and went out on the lash.
(4) How much money did he make? Maybe he bought himself a nice house and has enough cash to get by and is happy with that? Is this wrong?
Even on first team wages he'll be a long time retired, hope he has something to fall back on.
(5) How was his mental health? Has he got depression or dependence (alcohol?) issues? If so would it perhaps be more appropriate to show him some sympathy rather than slate him?
Possible, perhaps we can head over to the depression thread and ask their opinion?

Mourinho, saviour or barn burner?
It looks like his time at Madrid is coming to an end, and teams in the PL are lining up to bid for his services. But would you really want them. He's not stayed at any club for longer than three years, he's going to want you to mortgage your future so he can succeed in the present and the teams he's left have underachieved after his departure. So is he worth all the media hassle, the opposition antagonism, and the raised expectations? And will he settle down and be with your team for the long term, or leave you in the lurch to go and coach someone else, somewhere else..

Are you asking so you can write an article? Or are you writing a summary of an article you've read?
Would you take Jose?
You need: a big budget (unlimited), big players, big ego.Spurs have: none of the above.
City then. -
