  • I only deal in FACTS

  • I have also been to 6 games this season

That's more than some posters here have been to in their life.

Sorry, my mistake it's 5 BUT I did have a ticket for Utd but couldn't make it

  • You couldn't make it up could you?

  • I quite like the idea of weight being given to views expressed here based upon the number of games that one has attended. Could someone ask Velocio to fix it.

  • 8 games for me so far this year. That's all home games except our mid-week defeat to Liverpool in the Capital One Cup.

Barring a disaster, come the end of the season, I will have attended all home PL fixtures along with a couple of London games (QPR FA Cup, Chelsea PL etc).

  • Oh, and i'll probably pop up to see us play Norwich in May as well. It's near(ish) the parents...

  • You couldn't make it up could you?

They moved it from Sat to Monday night

You will most likely find a strong negative correlation between the amount of shit people post and the number of games they have been to.

  • I think that there appears to be a form of double negative in that sentence. I had better get back to analysing an esoteric reinsurance treaty. It's easier

  • Telling that you are all discussing the number of game you've been to this season, usually this sort of discussion centers on the number of games you've missed.

  • so you can't comment on a game you weren't at?

    For trolling purposes, yes.

    For match reports, no.

Unless it's a trolling match report.

  • @Pisti, some of us have to work the weekends, paying bills comes before watching football..

Here's your chance Corno, FREE Everton v Spurs tickets!

  • Surely, you just get to Liverpool and follow the Norwegians.

They don't wear signs you know...

  • I watched the full 93mins of our game on Saturday, amazing this internet malarkey

Not the same and you damn well know it

PLus who's to say Corny didn't watch all the game, using this 'internet' you speak of. As an aside no fucker else gives a fuck about spurs, let him speak about his own club if he wants.

  • It's the next best thing an you know it, in fact may even be better sometimes...replays, slomo etc, especially if you're at Goodison and more often than not you're sat behind a fuckin pillar!!

  • I'd rather listen to a post match review from someone who has watched the FULL match on the meganet than some halfarsed review from the Sunday papers...or worse still; edited and biased snippets from MOTD!

  • They don't wear signs you know...

Nah it's easier than that, the only ones not wearing Lacoste trackies are the Norwegians.

I do find opinions which are heavily influenced by pundits and journalists to be worthless. I can listen to Linekar if I want to and can hear him directly. I don't need someone to paraphrase him for me. There is a lot that can be seen while watching a game live that is not seen on television. OK, it is harder to judge particular fouls or other refereeing decisions but it is easier to see strategy and the work rate of all the players. Positioning off the ball is as much what the game is about as work on the ball.

  • And yes, my view of a game is biased because I am partisan. Sadly many pundits and journalists are equally biased but do not declare that bias and try instead to pretend to be neutral.

  • I am currently listening to this..

and having watched the highlights of Barca vs Athletic Bilbao

I'm drawn to wondering whether Barcelona are better now under Vilanova than they were under Guardiola, they seem to be much more insightful, getting in behind the back four, made a whole host of chances, and their goals all came from one defence splitting through ball, Fabregas' pass for the third is a thing of slide rule beauty...

    pls

I did see one of your whoppers heading to the match on Saturday.. bobble hat the works, he tripped getting on the train and I nearly pissed me keks laughing

  • Keks? You been revising from your scouse dictionary in preparation for Wednesday?

  • "Keks""???? Strides is the correct term.

  • Only in stylish areas of the country.

    I was paraphrasing Pisti.
