i predict frimpong to win FA young player of the season 2011/12..
he has been with our club for 10 years now and has tons of talent
one of a crop of future england stars at arsenal don't give up on wenger yet,
far too much invested already, without the headache of serious debt -

Frimpong did look pretty good as the game went on, then he got the 2nd yellow and that was the end of that. Looks like he'll be really good. the two other young lads Jenkinson and the spanish cb also looked pretty promising
-
• #39154
if frimpong is anything like a solid in-form essien,
then we have ourselves a formidable holding midfield player
he needs to soak up the pressure find some discipline
and control our game whilst protecting our CBsthat is where song and diaby have failed..

There's not much point in having all these talented youngsters if they can't stay on the pitch for 90 mins
And my money is always where my mouth is
-
• #39156
frimpong yet another hot headed arse player
3 sendings off in the first two games -
• #39157
they won't get into the uefa cup via the fair play league

We were at our best when we had the worst disciplinary... pundits bang on about arsenal lacking strength and grit, when it comes in they bang on about discipline. twats!
all the reports i read kept on about how the fans were booing and sarcastic clapping... fucking media! one chorus of spend some money got shouted down and the boos were for the ref..
Clive - once a few tax changes are made and Roman gets bored of his plaything you could look at Chelsea to sign Wenger to help them climb back up the leagues, he is a kind bloke and am sure would help out... it's inevitable.

Do you believe that. I mean it sounds logical enough, but the writing style and spelling make me question it, more likely to be his opinion, than any actual fact he has gained from a source.
I think the whole thing is a complete mess. If we had just accepted the loss of Cesc for this season, we could have signed an heir for him, it is my opinion that one of the people singled out to do this was Ander Herrera, whom was sold to Atletico Bilbao this summer for €8millon. The Nasri deal seems different, it is obvious that Wenger doesn't want to lose him, but it is now too late to gain the players who are equipped to replace him. Hazard isn't a replacement for him, Mata more so, more likely still Valbuena.
Comments mentioning Hummels and Subotic, seem to me pie in the sky talk, there is next to no evidence to support either of these.
It would fit but i agree it's not the most solid piece of writing. The board have never come out publicly on the subject of wage structure and its a clear fact we need to spend more to get the better players. but 200k plus shows a weak club in desperate need, 130k tops.
The Cesc saga was the worst part, player and Club holding us to ransom for the lowest price. terrible.. and to think Henderson went for 4Million less! the club is in no more of a mess than the transfer target
This article got me thinking (from a purest point of view) about the way we set up and play and the merits of bring players up together as a unit over signing players into the position. the only question i have is where were the academy players over the last 5 years? why is it only now we have a handful coming in?

And all without the vocal support of our resident Rams.

Greasy, that article is too flawed. Too many errors and the opening statement alone is wrong. Didn't read any further. Vertonghen is not the answer to your prayers either. You'd want a nutcase to do the job alongside Vermaelen. Mertesacker is a good bet. So is Subotic.

Go on then. I'll lay a ten sheet down on this one says we will be above Liverpool at the end of the season.
You won't finish above Liverpool this season

^ this is more like it. wild betting. Although I'd have to say liverpool are going to finish above Arsenal unless Arsenal get rid of Wenger. you know when your team is in trouble when the opposition fans sing 'there's only one Arsene Wenger'. I am expecting to hear this very soon. Get your heads out of his bumhole and see the light...me and Andy P have been saying Owen Coyle for a good few months now. But we are known for being ahead of our time.
Corny - see you for the second half. I will be resplendent in my new Leyton Orient top
