Losing to Udinese will dent alot of transfer plans we have.
Wenger should move up in the club and onto the board and a better man manager should step in, but not yet.
this is a good read, what ever happened to the right result prem website?

Andy that's never going to happen, the board don't want the upheaval or the cost of bringing in a new management team. They are happy in that the business model of the club, does not rely upon silverware but reasonable progression in all competitions...
Who would you replace him with? Stojkovic like Wenger intends?
-
• #39129
Not a fucking chance. What's Stojkovic ever done as a manager? You should always get a young manager on the way up, so I'd go for someone like Owen Coyle, but I think Kroenke will go for someone with more experience.
Arsenal don't have a board any more, as Kroenke can pretty much do as he likes, and he knows the business model is under serious threat, as more and more people refuse to pay the highest prices in the Premiership to see Groundhog Day, hence the sanctioning of the sale of Nasri, expressly against the wishes of Wenger (one view is that he did this to see if Wenger would resign in a fit of pique).
Wenger's had all fucking summer to get the players in that every sane football fan knows we need and he's done the square root of fuck all apart from buying a couple of promising youngsters and a relative unknown from the French League (more Groundhog Day). He can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

marco, should have said something, though I was probably in my own little wheezing zone trundling round battersea park..
Greasy and Andyp dark times ahead at the Arse, if Greasy's blog post is anything to go by.
can't attract the big names, the fans require, and the boss wants, and the kids not coming on fast enough...
I'm surprised its taken this long for the fans to start to grumble. Whilst you were building the emirates, it was about servicing the debt of the construction, and then after you moved in, it was about making sure the property market was buoyant enough to put money into the club rather than draining funds. And all of that fell into Wenger's thrifty, train 'em up policy, giving youth it's chance, being frugal, now, you're supposedly rolling in money (relatively) no one wants to take the Arsenal coin... And Arsene doesn't want to pay over the odds for players that aren't that much better than what he's got. Dilemma...
Whose gonna be at South's tomorrow to watch me ignore all the cyclists as I sit focused on the screen and pray we turn over Utd???
Won't be pretty I can tell you, and that's just me..

Do you believe that. I mean it sounds logical enough, but the writing style and spelling make me question it, more likely to be his opinion, than any actual fact he has gained from a source.
I think the whole thing is a complete mess. If we had just accepted the loss of Cesc for this season, we could have signed an heir for him, it is my opinion that one of the people singled out to do this was Ander Herrera, whom was sold to Atletico Bilbao this summer for €8millon. The Nasri deal seems different, it is obvious that Wenger doesn't want to lose him, but it is now too late to gain the players who are equipped to replace him. Hazard isn't a replacement for him, Mata more so, more likely still Valbuena.
Comments mentioning Hummels and Subotic, seem to me pie in the sky talk, there is next to no evidence to support either of these.

aren't there a couple of marseille players who are unsettled, what with them being housejacked, and not feeling safe in the city, valbuena is in the forefront I think in wanting a move away..

That was appalling. Totally lackluster. Referee was poor as well.
36 games to go. We had better start playing soon.
Arsenal hahaha. Liverpool were crap too. Everton hahaha.
We got points you fat fuck

• #39135
Liverpool looked better than last season and only won because we didn't get men forward but i was happy with that.
Fucking hell, you called us delusional.

The Sun are saying Luka's gone on strike and is refusing to play tonight. Even if this is the case I don't think Levy will budge even though Redscnapps wants to sell. Despite just signing Mata, it looks like Chelsea still want Modric. Tapping up text 38: 'A week left in the window, time to refuse to play, Luka. Worked a treat for Dimi.'
-
• #39137
Levvy will not allow Modric to leave, or so his son was saying the other day...

Its best to ignore all these maniacs who say Liverpool didn't deserve to win, were lucky and only did so because Arsenal were poor.
If you read the sickening match report in the Chelsea press (Guardian) it actually makes your blood boil. Grow up and get some balls. Liverpool were superior in every possible way and it is a miracle we didn't win 4 or 5 - nil. -

Eleven years!
Seen both Arse games this season now and it dawned on me who they remind me of - Us at the start of last year. No idea, no direction and very soon to be in the bottom three once United spank them next week :)

It would be very sad and wrong if Arsenal fired Wenger. Arsenal are going through what Chelsea went through forty years ago. Crippled by the cost of a new stand, Chelsea sold players and couldn't replace them. At one stage we were playing with a team made up entirely of home grown talent. It took more than a decade for Chelsea to climb back up. Arsenal will do well in the Championship but should be wary about seeking promotion too soon. A few years of stability and rebuilding first. It would be nice to see them gain promotion before Wenger retires.

• #39143
So you believe Wegner is the right man to guide them towards The Championship?

So you believe Wegner is the right man to guide them towards The Championship?
any man would be the right man if they could guide arse towards the 2nd division
mourhino evenand i'm not sure you are entirely right above clive
haven't arse nearly paid for their stadium already
loads of cash in the bankthe only reason why wenger doesn't buy mature experienced players is because he loves to watch young boys coming their way through the ranks

We will still finish above Liverpool this season, and without frittering huge sums of money away on over priced Englishmen, the decent signings you have made none are english. Downing may be okay, but N'Zogbia would have been a better option at half the price...best of luck and see you at the end of the season.

You won't finish above Liverpool this season
