they've spent £100m since Kenny's come in. That's an entire squad for over half the league.

Maybe VdV will be able to last 90 minutes after a good pre-season.
Did you see he came off injured the other day?

Cornie, 14 what do you expect from the spuds this season? We all agree last year was a one off, I mean even Leeds took a holiday in Europe. But what would you be happy with?
Greasy, I'm looking for a decent cup run, in the Europa, which I think we should be looking to get to the quarter finals, probably the semi's, if 'Arry takes it seriously. If he doesn't a good go in the FA Cup, and a massive go for a Champions League spot.
I think we have a good chance of getting into the Champions League spots, because the competition is going to be fierce between the four above us and it's about how many points you take from the clubs 9th and lower which is going to determine the league.
Admittedly turning over the sides below us isn't something we do on a regular basis, but we got fifth last season with both of out main strikers scoring 4 league goals each. IF they are still with us, I expect them to get more than that...
But probably what will happen is we'll slump to 8th/9th, 'Arry will bemoan the fact he didn't get to spend lots of cash, or everyone else has spent too much cash, and that playing in the Europa cup was a waste of space and we get turned over by either arsenal or man u in the FA Cup, and I don't mean the final either....
@ Clint.
I've enjoyed the success for Spurs over the last half a dozen years, more than can be adequately explained, but enjoying a teams success, after many failed attempts at solidifying a top rank, doesn't mean that you can't aspire to more.
At the end of the day I'm not going to call for 'Arry's head, but he's raised expectations now he has to grow a pair and continue to produce the goods. He's backed by the board, has a decent/good squad, he needs to make the most of it, by adjusting his tactics, playing players who are in form, rotating when they aren't and generally show he's the man who can make us viable Premiership contenders, and not pretenders...

I'll say!
Apparently, The Yanks have laid down the gauntlet saying he has to finish 4th.
According to The Daily Mail, which I obviously don't readwell not quite, "it'd be a major disappointment not to finish 4th or above" I believe to be the quote attributed. Which I think given the outlay (and there will be more) is a pretty fair statement of intent. It's not his usual rhetoric though, underpromise & overdeliver has generally been the mantra.
Pisiti stop picking out solo cretins and posting their remarks it's not working, every fanbase/group/generalistion has a few nutters/knuckledraggers/trolls even.
I'm sure if you show the link we'll see that clown getting shot down by the same fanbase. Everyone has an opinion but some of them are wrong and those people are grotesquely ugly.
I'm also sure I could find some retarded bluenose comments if I was bitter enough to bother

How much have Citeh spunked to get into 4th?
To get into 4th place, requires investment. A significant investment. Jose's team of winners accrued points at the cost of £2million. That's the cost of the title winning squad.
United just went out and "blew" 50 odd million on top of a squad valued at what? A couple of hundred?
Liverpool's squad, which was poorly invested in by Woy and at the end of times Rafa, to get into 4th still needs silly money spending on it.
Do you all talk about transfer spends just to wind me up?

Libpool seems to have more deluded 'cretins' than most though. They make Newcastle fans look sensible
And the 'bitter' tag is so dated, Kopites are doing just nicely taking over that mantle

Q: When did you do it?

You try getting in there now.

Q: What did you do with your top 4 success in Europe?
When did they do it - 2005
It was a top 4, Liverpool finished 5th.
What did they dio with it ? Got knocked out in a preliminary round. Then went into the UEFA cup and got knocked out of that at the first hurdle too. -

Q: What did you do with your top 4 success in Europe?
Fuck all 'cos Kenwright never invested. We still got in there though, when the so called Big 4 was Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Libpool
Libpool finished 5th remember and they kicked up a fuss with UEFA and demanded to be let in the CL yet the rules are clearly TOP 4
