When Kofi's name was announced before the game, Everton fans booed and then sang "Engurland, Engurland". The booing of Webb came from our end.

Thank fuck for that. I would have been upset if we had got rid of Alonso to buy Barry. Alsonso was absolute class this season. Would have been a backwards step in my opinion. Given that the only person who has mentioned this rumour is one Mr Anthony Adams MBE himself, I think it's safe to say that it is definitely self-serving publicity. He should seek a job at a Championship or First Division club and learn his trade properly.
