To be fair to Tony Adams, he would probably be better off with a complete change of career. I wonder if he has thought of estate agency or possibly being a corrupt UKIP politician. I could see him fitting easily into either of those roles.
I reckon a used car salesman would be more up his street.. I reckon he must have been on the sauce when he came up with that Celtic nonsense. Seems like he was also spouting of about Arsenal at the same time

maybe david silva will slip under the radar and we'll partner him with torres for £ 20mn
spanish front linethe tony adams rumour
bet there were so many celtic fans waking up in cold sweats last night " please please please let it be a bad dream " they are saying -
• #3281
That Silva deal is dead in the water. Real or Chelsea or City will have their grubby little fuckers hijack the move with x10 more cash and £1000000000000 a month wages.

talk of 15mn what a steal
i don't think chelski barca real will want someone who only costs £20mn
small fry ! -
• #3283
fuck that news. hot off the press:
tyrone mears is back at derby, marseille didn't want him. -
• #3284
I get the feeling that Tony Adams is a little unwell.
makes drinky-drinky motion
Celtic have said it's "complete garbage".

Fuck's sake. Turn down £18mil last season and now let Barry go for £12mil without a fight. I know he only had a year left, but that seems like shit business.
And why choose Man City? Fuck all chance of being ahead of us next season. They'll have a few past-it big names doing bugger-all to earn a nice retirement fund, no teamwork and finish mid-table with West Ham and Fulham.

£10 says we do

the whole reason he DIDN't move last season was because he was touted at £18mn
benitez baulked at the price -

You're on, Ronnie.

Next on the list is Lescott apparently, closely followed by Tevez.
-
• #3291
looks like mr hughes is going to be building quite a solid team, if all healthy and integrated, should be a top six outfit, especially as they won't have to worry about the extended europa league thingy.
man city have got bellamy, johnson (young midfielder who looked special last season and bit of this before injury), bojinov (quality striker) whose been injured throughout the last couple of seasons, also martin petrov who was sensational in his first season in the prem to return. Add in Barry, possibly Tevez, and a defender or two, and they have a really good chance of being top six, pisti, I'd think long and hard before betting against them.. -

All depends who Villa replace Barry and Laursen with and of course, how many quality players your mob buy. If the reports of Tevez, Drogba and Lescott are true then you might have a chance of getting in the top 8
-
• #3293
You can have Lescott for £12m + Michael Johnson and Micah Richards, or maybe Petrov
-
• #3294
Petrov is a possibility I believe, which is a shame because he can be brilliant. Richards will be staying a while longer to see if he can get back to his best, Johnson you wouldn't want.....
-
• #3295
or loosing to a big team in the fa cup final
-
• #3296
Johnson you wouldn't want.....
He used to be in our youth team but I think injuries, combined with going off the boil slightly has pushed him out of the pecking order, especially with Barry playing in his position
You can have Lescott in a straight swap with Robinho, we'll throw in Tony Hibbert too

The days of you and Judas Kendall robbing us are gone mate. And Johnson's problems are not injuries, but some dubious lifestyle choices.

**Michael Owen **could be offered £50,000 a week - a pay cut of £65,000 - to join Everton.
Ha!
Isn't little Mickey Owen Everton bound?
