  • i'm sure you can still climb over a wall in a couple of places

  • Aren't Orient playing Arsenal in the FA Cup?

Yep, absolutely no chance of ticket at any price.

The O's fixture page is here:

Blimey, there's a lot of yokels in League 1! Plymouth (Tues, March 1st) could be a laugh, as they have decent away support IIRC. On the other hand, the opportunity for scouse-baiting provided by Tranmere's visit to the Matchday Stadium (Saturday 30th April) could be too good to miss.

  • Bill, 30 April is the day after the Royal Wedding. Won't you be nursing a hangover?

    ;o)

  • Jose Mourinho's shopping in Sloane Street with Mrs Mourinho. I wonder if he's had a conversation with his old pal Roman. They used to be neighbours in the good old days.

  • anyone seen what inter have been up to since the fat waiter left them !
    oh benitez

  • José is probably meeting Glazer in Burger King

  • looking at the table, the mighty spurs are two points behind city with a game in hand, so depending on how we go against milan, and whether we have a european weekend comedown, we could be as high as third come this weekend, and have a point over city.
Next games are Blackpool (a), Wolves (a), milan - cl (h), west ham (a), and wigan (a).
All of the league games are eminently winnable, against teams that we should be beating or that are going through their own relegation travails, down in the bottom half of the table.
Now I know counting your chickens and all, but I've got a feeling we could be in with a shout (of champions league football 2011/12) until the death.
Now just need to keep champions league football 2010/11 alive past this tie with Milan, missing Bale, Modric, and possibly VDV, it'll be an ask for the mighty spurs, as Milan seem to have been reinvigorated recently, and sit three points clear of Napoli at the top of serie a and 7and 8 points clear of lazio and inter in third and fourth..

quoted for pure entertainment value when the season ends....

  • José is probably meeting Glazer in Burger King

There isn't a branch of Burger King in Knightsbridge.

  • José is probably meeting Glazer in Burger King

    Please no
Let Manure get some shit manager in for 2 years while they implode
Benitez is free come the summer ! actually thats harsh on benitez
    i did love the fella
    maybe sam allardyce
    or roy hodgson

  • It was the best goal EVER @ Old Trafford
It was the best goal EVER by a Utd player
It was Rooney's best EVER goal
It was the Premiership's best EVER goal

    FFS!

Newcastle come back the greatest in history... twats have compared it to Libpools in instanbul, those Geordie pricks will have a DVD out by the end of the month... it was one fucking point!

  • @ Dicki, Inter have been doing better under the soft, friendly hands of Leonardo, who hasn't had to deal immediately with being Mourinho's successor, and has kept fans and players onside by referencing Mourinho fairly regularly, and making sure he's not fighting two battles at once.
Inter are 8 games off the top of serie a with a game in hand, and have been involved in some goal scoring thrillers.
Leonardo seems to have got them playing, freer, more attacking football, and the fans and Moratti seem happy enough, though I think alot will depend on how they do in the CL, if they sustain their challenge to hold onto the trophy, Leonardo may stay around a while, if they capitulate, they'll get someone in for the summer..

  • Hey Greasy, how come no love for me with the arsenal/barca ticket, i would have taken it off your hands and kept the spanish love that dare not speak its name quiet as I sat amongst the arse faithful...

    I am disappoint.

  • Corny, what about Palace away at QPR?

  • Derby vs Palace Mar 19th

    1. Damo
    2. Ramaye
      3.

    Palace vs Orient

    1. 2.
  • Corny - No THFC fan could actually cope with the spectacle that is Arsenal vs Barca. Your mind would literally explode. Pip is looking out for you.

  • bill 12th march looks like I'm only slightly double booked, so should be doable. only question is the price of tickets as I remember trying to purchase a couple a while back and having the feeling that qpr were doing a east midlands trains on me and holding me to ransom..

Dov's I'm sure my mind could handle it, not to sure about my inclination to cheer everytime barca score, but it could be worked on..

  • Palace vs Orient

    1. 2.

    Ha!

£30. Only £10 more than Orient, and £4 less than I'm paying to see Arsenal vs Stoke.

    Hmmm.

  • is that good hmmm? or a bad hmmm?
you know what they say, you want london football, you'll pay london prices..

  • Liverpool are currently leading Southend 6-0 at halftime of the FA Youth Cup, with a hat trick from Sterling. I hope he turns out to be as good as his potential suggest he is.

Wish I could be watching this game, stuck at work.

  • Just got home for the last 20 mins, 9-0 at full time, 5 for Sterling. The Liverpool youth team do have some amazing players, Sterling of course, Suso, Robinson, Wisdom, Coady. If even half of those make the first team on a regular basis the future will be looking very good.

  • Sadly, 1 or 2 at best will make the first team at Liverpool. Some of the others might be lucky enough to make it at other clubs, but most will never make it.

  • That's common for all clubs btw, not just Liverpool.

  • Well Stirling has a first team number and some have rated him as being better than Owen at the same stage of their development. I imagine if there's the slightest chance any of them will/could make it I think our current manager will do all in his power to bring them through. Sorry to harp on about this but a lot of those players were brought in by Rafa and his reworked youth team set up- something he deserves credit for. Unlike a Mareen-he-o he spent a load of the money he made (from sales) trying to sort this out.
