I think this ruling will be the end of the 3pm blackout anyway.
Once pubs can legally show it Sky will want to get in on the action, and I expect they will win.
When I've been in other countries, such as Germany, it's so civilised to be able to watch all the games on TV on a Saturday afternoon.
and it's played in front of a full stadium, tickets are cheap as well. The PL can learn so much from the Bundesliga, I went last year to a Dormund game and tickets were about €15 if I remember correctly.

In Germany they still allow standing in some grounds.
Live football is better than televised football. Why not go and enjoy it?
Jaw, tickets on sale from tomorrow for the Everton game. Cannot imagine that they will be more than £25/30. Also bring with them 5 loyalty points which could help with the CL Final at Wem-ber-ley.

Was talking to Steve at the Coach & Horses about this at the weekend, he's organising this straight away and happy to have a few discerning soccer fans in the upstairs bar for this kind of thing... He wants to avoid a bunch of Pistis coming in and tearing the gaff up, y'see... Anyone interested? I can see Jonny and clintsmoker raising their hands at the back, Corny? Damo? Anyone else?
good work joe, you know i am in.

You're spot on about how sensible their set up is. They even trust the Dortmound fans to be able to stand up.
You couldn't stroll into the their league, buy who ever you want, run it into the ground and fuck off.
The idea that when a potential take over is in the offing they look at the clubs books - yet nobody checks their books to see exactly where their money is coming from would be laughed outta town. IF you were able to take over a team there you have to hold onto it for a minimal amount of time. -

I went to see Union Berlin last year (league below bundesliga admittedly) but it was €10 in, the stadium was packed, beers were €3 and you could drink whilst watching the game. It's not as if Germany doesn't have problems with ultras either. Of course it will never happen here.

How can you say that? Doesn't everyone get a funny little tingle at the sight of them or is it just me?

Pip, you feel it as well?

Last time I saw Deportivo it was €10 for a ticket off a random outside the ground... Really cheap to watch footie out there... We were playing Mallorca, one of the worst displays of football I've ever seen... Was a few years back, I think we've got worse since...

Good move on the 3pm kick offs.. maybe thats why Sky needed to make changes now competition has risen.
There is enough football on all day, there is only so much a man can watch so something has to give. monday nights replaced by saturday 3pm when the good lady is out shopping -

Ramaye: I see you lurking.
Pub for "teh match"?For the Leicester Game, if you are coming up by train then might as well go to the Victoria, cheaper than the Brunswick but still decent beer. They had decent pork scratchings in there the last time I went.

How does not having been to Derby in ten years sit with the Pisti Rules of Football Support (2011 edition revised)?
