As a newcastle fan I can honestly say 35mil is a ridiculously large sum of money for Caroll, considering Barca paid a similar amount for Villa a couple of windows ago. I'd love to see that money get reinvested in sorting our line up out into a comfortable mid table team with a decent level of back room staff.
