Liverpool are supposedly also in the market for him.
Just compare his career trajectory to someone like Harry Kane or Lukaku who are all of a similar age. Whoever is going to splash their cash on him are taking a pretty big gamble.

so coveted that you are still paying him £120k ish per week ?

i guess saido is english i'll give him that and he's 22 and he kicked aidy ward out
but if he can't make training on time it's got to say something about his overall personality and persona -

@cornelius_blackfoot - Adebayor? Seriously?

West Brom were absolutely mad to turn down the £20m+ that was offered for him in the summer. I suppose Pulis thought that he could take him under his wing, get a good season out of him and he'd add 50% to his value, but that ain't looking so good now.

Is there a website where we can keep track of ambulance boys latest injuries? Trying to find out if there is any hope he will play again this season because we seem to be lacking a few goals at present.

Are you referring to Sturridge, Michael?
-

He's a very talented player. Great finisher and plays well both alone and with another striker.
Unfortunately, his negatives outweigh the positives. He's prone to tantrums (on and off the pitch) and he's a disruptive personality in the changing room.
Since he's failed to make the starting line-up recently he's also put on weight.I don't say this lightly but Anichebe has been better in his one start than Berahino has been all season.

Very useful site. I expect he's played his last game for Liverpool. Question is what the hell do we do with him?
-
• #123265
nah paid out his contract, he's a free agent, so no signing on fee, but you will need to stump up his wages, which could be exorbitant depending on how many goals/effort he gives you..
-
• #123266
seriously, despite his contract year performances, and high salary, when he wants/needs to, he can lead the line, and score you goals. If his attitude/character/professional deportment was better he'd still be with Arsenal/Man City/Real Madrid or whichever club was willing to stump up the cash for his skills.
plus he's premier league proven... which if you need goals in a relegation battle is a must supposedly.. -

Surprised villa don't take Adebayor and get the 10-12 game new-club bounce he does. Might just be enough if a few other clubs tank.

Sell him to Chelsea?

God told him not to come to Villa and that was when Tactics was here. Much as we need goals, I don't think he fits Remi's plans. Would quite like us to sign someone at some stage though...I wonder why no-one seems keen to come?

Vidic released by Inter - reckon there's a few leaky defences in the EPL that could benefit from him
