oh yeah, borini to sunderland for £14mil HA
That's 40% of a Carroll.
Or 75% of what we paid for Suarez, but 20% of what we sold him for.

It's still pretty funny, but obviously the joke is on Sunderland. You're apparently close to signing Remy and for £8.5m it's even funnier what you're getting for Borini.
Davies to Spurs is apparently edging closer and looks like Schneiderlin could also be tempted. That would probably spell the end of Sandro though, which I'm pretty gutted by.

Also read we're back in for Konoplyanka, but face competition from West Ham... Just let that one sink in.

This news has been breaking today;
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28358968
John Alder was known as 'the undertaker' because of his consistent use of the same suit and trench coat. He went to every single Newcastle and Newcastle reserves game, home and away, even if away was pre-season in New Zealand. Unfortunately John and Liam were on MH-17 and were killed.
fucking disappointed with the new spurs kits
I can't believe these were consecutive posts. Perspective?
Horrible news about the toon fans. I find it hard to believe people follow their teams on pre-season tours, and go to every academy game, but I suppose it's better than being a plastic and not going to any games.

It's terrible about all the 298 dead, not just the football fans. I'm sure Oliver meant no harm.
I was watching BBC News this morning. NUFC supporters group chairman came on for a really personal and touching tribute to the two fans, thought that was a nice touch.

I think Schneiderlin will head to North London and play in red

Apparently we are paying McEachran £30k a week, he wants the club to pay for a Spanish tutor ahead of his latest loan move to Spain. Either I'm in the wrong business or his overheads must be really high if he can't afford to pay for a tutor himself.

We've smashed our transfer record (£6m) with the £10m purchase of Brown Ideye from Dynamo Kiev:

33 goals in 74 is actually the closest we've come to a striker with a half decent goal difference in a long, long time.

Apparently Dema Ba has gone for £4.4m, surprised that there wasn't more interest domestically.

Your point being?
I wouldn't be surprised if our PL spending hasn't gone above £25m and we compete in the same league.
We drew against you twice last season as well...

Trophies come at a price. I'd like to know which club has the lowest net spend per point and per trophy.
I'll give you a clue, it's not liverpol.

He was very close to joining us, deal done etc but he changed his mind last minute cos he wanted to play with Muslims....

Interesting enough, Turkish league is improving every year but still a long way off from reaching its potential.
Sounds like the Lukaku to Everton deal might be announced this weekend. Let's hope Chelsea have learned their lesson and inserted a hefty sell on clause. I find it odd that he doesn't want to fight for a place at Chelsea, he's still very raw but an incredible talent. He's got all the attributes to be a very fine striker but time will tell if that's enough.

I'm gutted Lukaku is going to Everton, really wanted him to come to Spurs.

We're already flogging Sandro, so I'm not so sure. Hoping that Poch can lure him our way.

Jaw, not sure it's a case of lukaku not wanting to fight for a place at Chelsea, more that he feels that mourinho isn't going to give him a fair shout at being the man, especially when they've just bought Diego costa...
Who?
