My WC this year will be Belgium:
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Simon Mignolet, Koen Casteels, Silvio Proto
Defenders: Toby Alderweireld, Anthony Vanden Borre, Laurent Ciman, Vincent Kompany, Daniel van Buyten, Thomas Vermaelen, Nicolas Lombaerts, Jan Vertonghen
Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Steven Defour, Marouane Fellaini, Moussa Dembélé, Nacer Chadli, Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Dries Mertens, Kevin Mirallas, Adnan Januzaj
Attackers: Romelu Lukaku, Divock Origi.
Reserves: Nainggolan, Pocognoli, Hazard, Gillet, Batshuayi, Van Damme
Not the hottest on the planet but some great talents and if managed well will have a decent run.
Not sure how those three missed out on making the squad.

Because Hazard is a whiney little shit, most likely.
He also couldn't be bothered to play for the last 2 months of the season.
-
• #102854
He played every game for the past 2 months for Zulte Waregem from what I know
-
• #102855
Though he is a moaning shitbag
-
• #102856
and nowhere near as good as his older brother.
-
• #102857
But 4 goalkeepers?! bit much isn't it
No Benteke either, is he injured?
-
• #102858
Did Soldado make the Spain squad?
-
• #102859
be interesting how De Bruyne gets on, was sad to see him leave chelsea as thought he had promise but never got the chance at Chelsea with the other talents ahead of him.

I missed that, thought it was his older brother.

^ I know, I was being a snide wanker. soz.
^^Still seems a bit crazy to take 2 striker and 4 keepers and 6 central defenders!

tenderloin, probably believes he can make up for the goals from the attacking midfielders, you'd reckon someone out of these will score a couple.
Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Dries Mertens, Kevin Mirallas, Adnan Januzaj

on a not going to the world cup note, spent a pleasant couple of days in milan, and that Kaka is a gentleman. Spent a lot of time with the fans we were filming, and made some fans from around the world (who most on here would brand as plastics) really fucking happy..
ps. may have to get italian catering for the shoots I do in the future, food was super good.

and on a spurs note, looking forward to who we get in. Sherwood shot himself in the foot with his overactive gob, and attitude. Any club in the premiership that offers him a job he should grab it with both hands and not let it go.
And his arguments that he had the best winning percentage of any tottenham manager, were also uttered in AVB's defence and they got short shrift as well. You still got beat by the big boys that we aspire to be winning against, so if AVB gets the bullet for it, so should he..Not sure who'll we get in, but think I'd prefer De Boer, worried about Pochettino's longevity, and think Laudrup would be a good fit.
Currently looking forward to the La Liga decider on Satuday afternoon, Effra Hall anyone? And the Champions League Final, Effra Hall anyone? and then the World Cup, Effrra Hall anyone?

I'm up for the Champions League final, so somewhere south is good for me.

Surprised to hear that Pochettino is open to it, and it's lessened my respect for him for some reason. I sort of hope that he stays put at Southampton, they've been a real breath of fresh air.
-
• #102869
^^ yeah I'll be up for that probably

Corndog, if you think speaking your mind is an issue than I'd stay well clear of Laudrup. Shouldn't Levy start to reevaluate and weigh up his options. He's had plenty of chances to get it right but yet when push comes to shove he sack his man. Tottenham are not a top 4 club, never have been, never will be. If they make it to the top 4 once every 5 years than that's a bonus. Face reality and enjoy consistency (see Everton).

Jaw, there's speaking your mind and then there's Sherwood, he was speaking as if he'd won the lot without having the silverware or the great football teams he's managed to back it up.
-
• #102872
I can't see Laudrup lasting longer than 18 months and then he'll tell Levy were to go.
He's a great guy and a good manager but he doesn't deal too well with hierarchy. -
