Mahrez in the Algerian 30, good stuff.
"I only found out about Mahrez in February and went to watch a few of his matches. He's an interesting player," Halilhodzic said at the Algerian Football Federation training centre on Monday.

Hope Gerrard doesn't do a Carra and leave before we win the league (whether after the next season or longer). Unlike the other oldies he's actually pretty damn good.
However, just because we came so close this season it doesn't guarantee us anything for the next season. I'll be guilty of thinking like that.

So is Djebbour, who probably played his only match for us around February...

roman abramaovich is now the longest serving owner in the first division
in other news
joe cole is now available on a free
he could join up with terry and lamps as part of the current overhaul of the chelsea squad ( where they are selling any young skillful attacking players and re signing old defensive talent ) and mourihno could re live 2004 all over again -

All your current players will have long retired by the time LFC even get a sniff of winning the prem.

My WC this year will be Belgium:
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Simon Mignolet, Koen Casteels, Silvio Proto
Defenders: Toby Alderweireld, Anthony Vanden Borre, Laurent Ciman, Vincent Kompany, Daniel van Buyten, Thomas Vermaelen, Nicolas Lombaerts, Jan Vertonghen
Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Steven Defour, Marouane Fellaini, Moussa Dembélé, Nacer Chadli, Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Dries Mertens, Kevin Mirallas, Adnan Januzaj
Attackers: Romelu Lukaku, Divock Origi.
Reserves: Nainggolan, Pocognoli, Hazard, Gillet, Batshuayi, Van Damme
Not the hottest on the planet but some great talents and if managed well will have a decent run.

The end of the season was bittersweet for me
I liken it to an away to a really big team...Bayern/Barca etc going ahead in the game then conceding a late equaliser. Annoyed to not win yet still would have taken the result at the start of the game.
