Thanks, I am very tempted but it wouldn't be fair to Mrs Q to announce that I'll be out all night at this late stage. I didn't even mention it to her or put my name down due to the sure and certain knowledge that I would be skint this month.
Shame though, I remember thinking at the last Suntory tasting just how fabulous the Yamazaki 18 would be with a good cigar.

S'all good BQ. We still need to celebrate your new work situation. So sufficient notice is all I need.

I went for bottle of 10 year old Isle of Jura in the end as they were on offer in Waitrose.
Very nice drink, I found it similar to a Dhalwhinnie.
Would recommend it -

Time for a list. I actually came here to post an Irish whiskey I bought recently, Teeling, a small batch blend from Dublin. Quite nice, very clean, and not overwhelming even at 46%. I usually drink Scotch malts but wanted to try something new. I live in SE10 and they are stocking it at Theatre of Wine on Trafalgar Road in east Greenwich. Would buy again.

I was referring to the Whisky BBQ thing mentioned above. Then again, maybe so are you. Some of that lot would definitely do a Jacob's Ladder then go on for a whisky-themed BBQ.
