I"m not sure which I would find more shocking if presented with a choice, opening up a thread about cars (you know, my natural enemies) written by other cyclists or opening up a thread that started with a picture of a naked sailor swabbing the decks.

I admit I do find this thread to be a bit like a car crash.... I'm not sure why i'm looking at it, but I can't seem to stop staring. That said I had a 65 baja beatle untill I hit a cyclist with it. True story.

cars aren't our enemies, they make riding in London much more fun! :)

Cars I have owned:

Car: Mk3 Ford Fiesta running 143 DB of stereo but also perfect treble etc... sounded lovely even at low levels

How it died: Broken into and smashed to pieces

Car: Fiat Punto - bog standard

How it died: Gave it to my sister, she gave it to our family mechanic who drove it to get an MOT and crashed headlong at 60 into a car coming the other way thats driver had, had a stroke

Car: Honda CRX Mk2 1.6 16V - seriously tuned, running 145 BHP, and lighter than a nats fart, around 5 grand spent on engine, suspension etc....

How it Died: Stolen, some cunt put it on the back of a flatbed and drove off with it

Car: Ford Fiesta - standard and slow after I lost all my no claims because of the above car being stolen.

How it died: Someone pulled out on me and I had no time to break.

Car: VW Golf MK3

How it died: Not dead yet......
