That's such a big problem with the car world nowadays, the "remakes" supposedly the new Mini isn't all that bad, it'll never be as good as the old one, same with the new 500, however the Beetles, Vantages, Capris and all the rest of them are a horrible mark on the originals, how hard is it to come up with a new name?
its to do with marketing and expenditure, it can easily cost 5 million dollars +++ to come up with a new name and marketing strategy

Aston Martin One-77....
if you really want serious drool factor & adrenaline rush, .... check this out!... the one-77 ...its a complete work of art... quote " it will sound like nothing you have ever heard before... fast? its almost illegal...
http://www.one-77.com/flash_episode_two.html
77 examples of the £1 million coupe will be produced ..."the limited edition One-77" . Details are scarce, but the One-77 will be powered by a hand-built 7.0-liter ( although I just read it will be a 7.3 liter V12) V12 nestled inside an aluminum and carbon fiber chassis. 0-60 times are estimated at 3.5-seconds, with a top speed cresting 200 mph....
All 77 are pre sold... damn... missed out! ;] I wish!

I start a thread about cars even though I have no interest in cars, just to be kind and helpful and no one says thanks. Enough to make a person bitter and cynical.
The forum is such a nicer place since we got rid of rep. -
