I love that Lancia dash. When I was in the 6th form my mate had a gold Prisma, must have been less than 10 years old and already rusty & knackered. It needed the heating on full whack in traffic to stop from overheating. We used to bunk off afternoons and drive our gfs up to Henley for pub lunches. A simpler time ;)

Think so - seems to be turning up in all sorts. I had a Ram truck rental when Leo was here and that had a version of it too. It's a seriously nice box...almost like a CVT in auto mode.
Rented it at SF Airport, had a work thing up in Napa. Definitely improved my weekend!

Those prices would be for Integrales, I assume this Delta is somewhat less feisty

I was mistaken, but integrale are usually 40k plus. Don't get me wrong I would love one. Just a huge tax and so wondering how this one was 2k. Hard to judge from photos.
What's it drive like?

There's an Audi A2 club. That pleases me. Not sure why, possibly because it shows people can find community and pleasure through simple connections like having a weird washer filling system.

I presume he means Warner Brother Leavesden up by Watford. Slightly less glamour.

Anyone got any good links for flocking? Got this little gem to blackify
-
• #34939
Yeah man, there's a guy called Ron who runs Flock Shop. I know of him through MX5s but he does everything. I'll get some contact deets.

That's in the flock district, right?

Flock Yard, off Flock Lane, just behind Flock Street?

The lancia drives really nicely but the idle is a bit lumpy so I've ordered a new idle air valve which should rectify it. The only other running 'problem' is that the gear shift feels well sloppy so I'm gonna try and find some new bushings and hope that tightens it up.
Other than that it's got some rust here and there, electrically it seems pretty good so far. I'm loving how it handles too even though the ride feels well harsh compared with the scooby.
Being an old fiat 1600 twin cam it's fairly easy to get hold of spares for which is nice.

Tesla Model X, thoughts?

Hawk replica Id say. I once drove one with a 250bhp Alfa 3.2. Nice, it was.

Do you need the extra space over the Model S? S gets better range and has normal doors. Also a far larger owner-base to gather debugging data from.
Less "jumped-up-skinhead" than any Range Rover though. Smaller in read life than it looks in solo marketing shots.

Digital dash or earlier/rarer analogue? I worked on these years ago, did my apprenticeship on VW/Audi plus 16 years :) before moving to BMW

Stupid doors - I've been in a couple as Ubers and they would get annoying quickly. They're lovely inside. Outrageously fast too, I've never driven one but got a 'demo' from one of my Uber dudes. Bonkers, giggle with laughter fast.
A day out with the club on Sunday at Temple Newsam, Leeds. Not Astons but... ...
