Do they spec different radiators?
Having run a 3 core aluminium radiator, from a race car, in the cortina pre cross flow and I needed to cover more than 3/4 of the radiator to get some heat in the water system.

Breaking rumour. Was in Cosworth yesterday and informed that the relationship with Ford is over - not a formal channel though (and can't find anything on the web to confirm)

Got a clunking sound in my w124 when I shift up / down without taking care. Had the local repair shop looking at it this week, and they claim there's not much to do. The clunk comes from a bit of play in gearbox, transmission, diff, etc, and all together they create the clunk. It can be fixed, but it'll be very spendy as everything would need looking at..
They didn't check the subframe bushings though, and I have a feeling it could be those. Reading online about it, a lot of people seem to have similar issues, and looking at the construction it makes sense.
Any hive-mind thoughts?

Polybush the entire car, you're in Sweden I believe so the medical and dental costs should be covered in your tax.
-

I haven't been to the dentist for 5+ years, and not planning to go anytime soon, so polybushes are taken into consideration

Teeth are like performance cars - regular maintenance is required.

Read about some kind of magic oil for the diff that I'm gonna give a go, guess fresh gearbox oil can't harm
-
• #25561
No magic oil helps, sawdust might ;)
Maybe look at synthetic oils, helped in a few older gearboxes.
Edit - checked the engine mounts?

BMW M3s have a problem with clonking diffs, especially cornering caused by the slip diff plates grabbing and catching, the new oil for them helps stop it.
-
• #25564
Doesn't 'exercising' the diff then changing the oil again improve the sticky plates?

No, but be sure to try one before committing to a build, they're not especially comfy.
Be sure to fit an Alfa 6.

The alfa v6 makes more power and torque than the original engine stradale (Dino) engine. But then the same Dino engine had different size horses when it was in a fiat than when it was in a ferrari.
There is a later 3.2 with 250 bhp a whole 90bhp more than the dino There is also the v6 2.0 turbo that would be fun....with similar which gives a similar power. Actuallywould love the Q4 164 but they are rare.
