That Alpina B10 Touring is £18,940 - which if I did buy it I'd finance in some manner.
Is there finance dedicated to second hand vehicles that anyone has experience of/can recommend?

The default option is Rob at http://www.classicandsportsfinance.com
They understand why that sort of car isn't £1500 like other E39s would be and that it ought to hold it's money well.
Not that I know whether £19k is fair for it...

Who is the Hefty of the Alpina world to whom the valuation request could be sent?

My pal Jon at Avantgarde knows most things about M cars as well as Mercs. Id probably ring him first to get his thoughts.
If not then Munich Legends.
Maybe 4 star classics.

If it was at 4 star it would be £45k

Grazie. I just had a look at dedicated car finance - 14% APR! I can get 3.7% from my bank for a loan, with zero shopping around.

How does this work with dealer finance - do I say "I want to pay £450 per month for three years, if you can do that I'll take the car today" and see what happens?
-
• #25535
Depends on the dealer. Some will tell you to go away and talk to a finance co and come back to them, others will be keen to earn a little commission.
If you can get an unsecured loan from the bank or a bit of extra mortgage then do that. Obvs don't lie, but they'll want it to be for home improvements.

No, your not the only one I have been thinking about it but going on the hot climate experience (Oz and the states) on the Forester forum no one has had an issue.
There is a reason the top 3 of cars sold in Denmark is: Up - Aygo - Citigo...
