At least Ringo knows he was lucky and McCartney had the 1.8 because he makes Mick Jagger look like king of the spunkers.
I'll give you the Senna reference (Serious Piles even posted a print-out of Senna times in a 190 Cosworth several hundred pages back) but they were still unobtainable to the average man in the street.
Buy an E30 and be done with it.

Why do you need air con in the UK?
It's a black car with a small, black interior and a relatively large engine inches behind you. Without air-con it's impractical to drive any time between March and October.
Well, it is for me anyway. I'm a cold weather person, and I tend to sweat a lot.

can you open a window?

What, and breathe common air? That everyone else has already breathed? Don't be silly.

The recent heat has got me thinking about getting my aircon working. The Panzerwagen is a box full of windows, and freezing cold air would make it so much better. Trouble I have no idea what it will cost me. Maybe it will all work after new seals and a conversion/regas to r134. Maybe everything will need replacing.
It sat in storage for 5 years which would definitely stop it working, but other things might also be wrong. Everything else works though so maybe the system is fine. -

Euro seemed to be getting more expensive when I used to use them. Could also try GSF (German, Swedish & French) but it might be that they're all pretty similar now.
If you look on www.mbclub.co.uk you'll find the latest ECP discount code that gives you 30% off.
It could well be mbclub30... -

can you open a window?
Yes, but then I can't hear what they're saying on Radio 4 unless I turn the radio up really loud.

Any common reason why my electric window might only be going down a few inches? Not on the rails properly or something?
motor sounds fine for the few inches which makes me think it isn't that
what kind of car? What the history of the problem? Does it just stop or does it immediately bounce back up?
Knowing nothing, and aside from a mechanical interruption as already posted, it may be that it needs to be reset. put the window up all the way, release, then hold the button in the up position for 15, maybe 20 seconds. (really I've found 10 seconds works on my Jetta). Then try to go down. If it doesn't go down, something else may be wrong, or your car doesn't respond to the procedure i just described. If it does go down, then repeat the process at the bottom.... release and then hold down, etc.

You reckon speedo was over-reading?
146 was from the Garmin, dunno how accurate they are at that sort of speed to be fair, more accurate than the speedo though I imagine.
