Hmm if you fit PS pipes yourself you're still only saving ~£150. Bugger.
Found any 2nd hand PS pipes?
Rear box delete will still cost the same, no? Chop it out and weld in flanges for pipes will be same work as replacing box? You'll save the cost of the box but that can't be much...?

BRM- can we have a crack at my aircon this weekend? I have a "shade tree mechanic" fix for it which sounds easy. Involves wire, and no major unbolting.

^ that is awful reading
In other news I may have someone to work on the VR6 for half what the garage wanted - if I can get the power steering pipes myself, and the before back box, I might be in with a shot of getting it fixed. Then sell it I reckon.
Backbox you say.......and pipes....
What are you doing on a London forum, bloody foriegners :P
PM you.

Oh this little convoy was leaving for the Hayride just as I got back to the Workshop. The rod has a 500+ci RB stroker motor a lot like mine, the rest is all scratch built by the workshop - it's a wonderfully evil piece of kit. (oh and that is mine on the far right, bonnet up and not working properly as usual :) )
Is that thing road legal? No plate, exposed wheels, exhaust touchable.
Ages ago looked in to buy a model T chasis, then modifying and building a rod with modern ish road gear and those were the bits I was told or is it a No MOT thing?
