  • What with? Serious question.

You shoot people with guns. So, guns.

  • Crouch End/Hornsey. From what little I can see, 2 properties are being done at the same time. Only 2 vans left here now but quite a few cars.

Done as in looted or done as in coppers steaming in arresting the residents ?

  • You shoot people with guns. So, guns.

    Any particular weapon of choice?

  • Spud gun

  • Done as in looted or done as in coppers steaming in arresting the residents ?

Police raid. Not fucking about either.

  • Then maybe you should stop talking?

    just a thought..

I'm under impression that I'm not the only one on here.

  • Police raid. Not fucking about either.

this is probably where they finally get to let off some steam.. they must be having a great time.

  • Any particular weapon of choice?

    No.

  • Hell yeah, setting fire to places where babies sleep = shoot the fuckers, I'd do it myself.

    Not joking.

You don't know what parental love can do until your try. Before, I was just into my records and current girlfriends. Since I've become a father it's all changed. Even puppies and kittens can't compare.

  • I'm just intrigued by all the 'shoot them' comments. How many guns do we collectively own on LFGSS? How many of us actually know how to fire one or more properly? How many people know the fear you get when you hesitate to sqeeze the trigger against your first live target?

I don't want a list, I just assume it's a very low number on all counts which makes most of the comments completely worthless.

  • Personally, I believe humiliation and intimidation to be an important tool in police discipline. It sounds awful when I put it that way, but when a kid has nothing to lose, and no discipline at home, there aren't many other motivating factors for them.

Surely the motivating factors would be community, family, role models, something to lose, etc?

I don't see how external discipline, or intimidation, would have made a difference for your 'friends'.

There's some good debate online right now about segregated society, leaving the lower classes behind, etc, at the moment. It's a much more fruitful area for change in my opinion.

  • fucken new it, deported

    Etc...

  • The first person to appear before magistrates this morning, Alexis Bailey, 31, of Wye Street, Battersea, south London, was committed to Wood Green Crown Court, along with the majority of others. He pleaded guilty to burglary with intent to steal at Richer Sounds in Southend Road, Croydon on Monday. The BBC's Clive Coleman at Highbury Corner magistrates' court says his case is typical in that the magistrate committed him for sentence at the crown court. The reason for this is the magistrates' bench felt the riot was such an aggravating feature to the burglary that the crown court ought to sentence because they have additional powers. The magistrates felt that they had insufficient powers to sentence for a single count of burglary. They could only sentence for six months whereas that could be up to 10 years at the crown court.

Seems like they're making sure they can give a meaty sentence rather than a slap on the wrist. I'd expect most to "Be made examples of"

  • Police raid. Not fucking about either.

They won't be - payback time for the Met.

  • was going to reply to TheorySwine about 5 pages back, but whatok ^^^^^ also reminded me: there has to be a balance, I mean some kids especially do need to have a healthy fear of consequences, but as has been said many times over the last few days the society we live in basically agrees to live together, there isn't a state or police force in place to make sure we all behave, and nor would we want that. because the idea that people will default to arson and theft unless forced into conformity by the state/police is a sad one. like building a place that is impossible to vandalise or abuse, it is dehumanising to all.

You don't shoot at school here?

  • ^
    serious question

  • Wow, that's brilliant ! Did you knock that one up, fantastic, brilliant lighting.

  • don't bother mate. i'd wager most people on here advocating shooting up the place would put themselves in hospital before they worked out how to reload.

  • You don't shoot at school here?

Not in my day. Couldn't possibly comment on todays 'youth'.

  • The teacher who was looting Richer Sounds in Croydon has been sent to Crown Court for sentencing.

So she'll be going down for > 6 months.

  • There's some good debate online right now about segregated society, leaving the lower classes behind, etc, at the moment. It's a much more fruitful area for change in my opinion.

Mixed tenure communities... But how? I'd buy into it...

  • @ EEI they don't- not unless you're at Eton.

    Or cadet force...

    @ the Lush
I know how to shoot- Dad used to shoot competitively so taught me young at grandparents house in countryside

I however am strongly against guns being in private households, and though I have a gun licence, I would never own a gun myself.

@ earlier comments on rubber bullets-
Since my cousin just got paralysed by one, not really keen on these being used anywhere.

  • Etc...

    : )

    Fucktonist
