  • They are not protests and that is exactly WHY this is an appropriate time to use some police brutality!

These are just yobs destroying everything because they are revelling in their moronic destruction, violence and the chance for free shit.

Stuff like this (the looting and vandalism etc) will destroy freedoms for everyone. People are stuck in places, not able to do their jobs and travel around the city freely. They are at risk of robbery or having their homes and cars destroyed and having their rights limited in the future.

All because of these yobs. They are easy to idenity in their crowds when charging towards police etc. I dont think it would be a terrible idea to go cracking skulls TBH.

Cracking skulls sounds like a good idea to me. Its what the scummy chavs understand.

  • has nuknow been on today?

    Hopefully getting some sleep...

  • rumours that paliament will be recalled...

  • Luisa Baldini BBC News, Scotland Yard
Water cannon ruled out by Home Secretary Theresa May.

  • 13,000 police officers on duty today/tonight, plus calling in all special constables according to BBC news just now. More than double the 6,000 that were on duty last night.

BBC just said 16,000 on duty last night...?

  • Someone in Tottenham being interviewed the other day was asked whether rioting works, his response was "Well, you're talking to us now aren't you. You're finally listening now aren't you".

Like the building of Brixton Rec...lesson learned...

  • I don't see how effective for the police to urge parents to keep their kids in? I mean good parents know how to teach their kids and these kids won't go looting around (that's the hope). Bad parents don't know how to teach their kids and some if not most of these kids would go looting around, possibly with the support from their parents.

  • unless cameron pulls something out of his arse in his address and gives the scum a reason to think twice about doing it again they'll just carry on until there's no more to loot.

    Lozlz.......

    What. Planet. Are. You. On.

  • Evans Cycles, Chalk Farm/Camden Town this morning:

Manager was pretty sanguine, but said the worst thing was for the people in the flats living above the shop - terrified of the place being torched.

  • here we go...

  • yeah but have you seen the price of basmati rice? shocking

  • Cameron speaking now

Were your children at home last night?

I think they said an extra 1,600. Could be wrong. Cameron on BBC.

See my post. Cunt parents are transporting cunt kids already.

  • and I was kind of responding to that. ;-)

  • Blah, blah, blah... Law and order... Politics of fear... Bullshit...

  • I think they said an extra 1,600. Could be wrong. Cameron on BBC.

Yeah, just confirmed 6000 last night, 16,000 tonight.

Also, shouldn't Cameron be hugging the hoodies ...?

Edit: Jesus what a shit speech, all fucking hot air

  • Were your children at home last night?

Oh yes, all teddy bears, pets, pests, and everything else were all locked in by me!!!

  • "You will feel the full force of the law..."

  • Well jolly good, I'm sure standing in condemnation will sort this out good and proper.

  • now if you will excuse me, there is important work to be done. [rides bike]

  • That's what I've been trying to tell people these last few days. But being wrapped up in their cosy bubbles they can't even conceive the thought that others don't live the way they do.

Simply put: If you have never experienced it, you cannot even imagine it.

And that's a shame, as the realities for those who are in extreme poverty and hardship is something that makes every small thing an impossible task.

I also tried to explain that the youth are furious, that most people are furious. They see corruption in the banks, corruption in politicians, and both of those classes continue without a care, and the poor pay every day. They protested and striked over the future of education and pensions, and no-one really gave a fuck and it didn't change anything.

So now you have enormous swathes of people (not just the youth) angry in a deep way that they're not being listened to or acknowledged.

Someone in Tottenham being interviewed the other day was asked whether rioting works, his response was "Well, you're talking to us now aren't you. You're finally listening now aren't you".

I too think this isn't an end, if anything now that they're learned their power if they act in many small groups (hard to police without an enormous standing force), that this is more likely to happen with greater frequency in the future with far more issues being trigger points for it.

    FUCK YEAH!!^
