Our food industry and all those connected to it have been fucked constantly and harder for years now. Everything from wages/holidays/hours/rights of staff(supermarkets are a huge industry of low paying employers) to farming and food production of all sorts(farmers are squeezed by the shops to produce cheaper and cheaper).
It is very worrying. I hope we don't become like America where corn became the easiest to produce and then they had to find uses after. Lots of the diet problems in america are blamed on corn, messing about with corn starch and corn enzymes and corn sugars and corn syrup and any other fucked about with corn made things.

My granddad was there with him 70 years ago, that kind of experience never leaves you. Unfortunately war isn't a thing of the past.

they did the same with the jubilee line excavators and will do the same with the cross rail tbm's
just did an extra 200m branch line drive the tbm down it then cave in the tunnel behind them
and those are worth millions, i guess it's all part of the costs and why things cost so much these days -

^a guy from St Mungo's was on Radio 4 this am, saying that once cardboard is put on top, those spikes will actually make sleeping there warmer and more comfortable. With any luck, those nimby fuckers will have guests every night from now on.

One resident, Sandra Kyle, said: "The first time I saw someone lying here, I didn't like it as I didn't like having to walk by them - that sounds very selfish - but when I saw those studs, I thought what a good idea."
However her husband Trevor Kyle, who works in a nearby shelter, said: "A lot of them are my friends and it's almost harmful - if you lie on those you're going to get spiked and it sends out that message, which I think is wrong."

In any other line of business he'd have been hailed as a logistics genius.
is it too late for him to change teams and get on the tdf ?
if he's been in training for it would be a waste of all that work
