His weight is irrelevant (as you know James, I too am a fat twat and I ride 150 miles a week) what is relevant is the amount of media time spent (wasted) talking about RLJing and insurance whenever cycling is in the media.
Zoe (my trainee) was ace. She quickly deflected those silly arguments and mentioned riding a car door away from cars and telling drivers to watch out for cyclists. She made a good point about the law favouring the rich and insisted that cycling should nit be made more complicated by any legislation as it is crucial to society. Adam Rayner agreed with most of her points towards the end.

I mentioned it in the other thread about head cams but I know Adam (tenuously) through another forum and I've asked him why he took that route in the debates, I can't share the link as it's a private forum but I can give a summation of his response when he replies to it.

She was very good; calm, rationale and made her points well.
But people realise this was a couple of weeks back, don't they?

you are not morbidly obese
we can all carry a reasonable amount of fat and be healthy. he is cearly not healthy
I do agree that rlj and insurance is not helpful (but is always trotted out) and zoe dealt with that perfectly pointing out it was not true for all cyclists etc.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20110202/tuk-perfume-ad-banned-over-drug-use-simu-45dbed5.html
The ad was choreographed by Akram Khan who said the gestures in question represented "the circle of life, the flow of energy in Belle's body and a sense of life being given out of the earth".
Is it only me who don't really buy the arty explanation?

I am glad you did not point out that he is a fat twat. Or that he could seriously benefit from significant weight reduction as he is currently morbidly obese. Or that he will end up costing the tax payer more in NHS bills than he has ever paid in vehicle excise duty.

James, why do you dislike fat people so much?

Urgh, light news compared to the rest of the stories in the world this week, a minimal number of people will even care, but IPv4 addresses are down to 5 blocks and are falling quickly.
Simply put,
we're going from these IP addresses: 10.11.251.32
to these: 2001:cdba:0000:0000:0000:0000:3257:9652
Most modern OS' will be able to use this protocol but older systems like XP are a bit fucked (requires manual enabling and config)Longting

Ha. Serafinowicz lives on the next street to me. He's huge. See him wandering about in his dressing-gown, just-got-up-hair sometimes. I swear, he's enormous. I thought that show of his was hilarious.
