don't ride in the gutter, ride at least a car doors width away from the pavement will have a far greater effect on your visibility

  • Is that a foot on the pavement, though - maybe they're just setting off?

  • 68 is much more worrying.

It's not recommended to do that either (not recommended by cycle trainers, I mean). I was told to start off actually in the road, in basically the same position I'd be riding in - makes it more obvious that you're using the road and you're about to start moving. I wanted to say something like "nice trainers, though" about the chap in the picture but they aren't even. :(

  • so. 15 other celebrities intimated - who's next for outing? My money is on anyone who ever did Radio 1 Roadshows

  • Find out in aminute if Vicky made the cut in strictly.

  • Seems an odd way of doing things, especially on busy roads. You'd take longer shuffling out into the road and getting on your bike than waiting at the side for a gap and moving into it.

  • Can I just say, haloween, get fucked, I'm not buying your nasty cheap supermarket crap to 'have a good time'
Bring back Guy Fawkes and bonfire night

  • Pink Punters - ha ha, used to end up there sometimes on some messy Bletchley nights out

    Very topical.
Vicky is gonna rinse this strictly comp just by athletic determination...

Yep, I'm going to continue departing from the side of the road, I'll make some sort of pseudo-Gallic honking noise to warn people of my intentions to push into the traffic flow

  • Look, some of us just want to ballroom dance to our bikes.

Yeah, tango feet before a stunning running mount from pavement.

  • Check out velocipede on telly now! Ch 5

  • ^There is one being built on C4 at the moment.

  • Ha yeah that's what I meant

  • Its really fnucking cool.

  • Haha.he's a legend.seen in in few films.he can ride.

  • Thought he may lose it there.

  • the fuck you all talking about? C4 some geezer pretending to be old fashioned? what am I missing?

  • The guy who is called Guy helped restore a water driven saw mill, then built a wooden velocipede using t'mill. He then proceeded to ride his freshly built velocipede down a huge fucking hill, nearly lost it but managed to hold on as he happens to be an IOM TT legend and a real man.

  • no seriously? what was he doing? All I saw was he was tanning leather?

  • whatever
