The Savile Panorama tonight made me want to cry, punch the TV, hug the victims and (if the suggestions are true) give certain BBC producers/bosses a slap.
Should the BBC be regulated by Ofcom?
I doubt George Entwistle will get much sleep tonight - I hope for his sake he didn't he put Christmas scheduling over and above revealing the truth.

On a lighter note, here's a dolphin singing 'I do like to be beside the seaside'. Or so it sounds to me.

I can't take the way he sings, but I love to hear him talk.

Run free badgers, run free! And enjoy the next few months, because, you know, that U could become an O, then you're all fucked again...

I dunno... I don't see why he wouldn't just rip the plaster off now and do it. To postpone it, if it's true, by some months is quite a serious shift I reckon (on the badger scale of things).

Not sure what ofcom have to do with this? Would they have caused it to stop? Would they have had any powers over it?
If anything the bbc's regulations are stronger than ofcom already.
As far as I'm concerned the news about Jimy Savile is a failing of the law and all the individuals who decided the funding he provided was more important, BBC scheduling is a bit of a red herring isn't it?

On one hand: WAFC, thinking he can get out of it
On the other: I've tried to do the exact same thing.

I sat in a first class, which was almost empty, cos there was no space to sit anywhere else, and didn't feel like sitting on the floor after paying £74 for a ticket. I don't think that's unreasonable - It's not my fault the fuckers cut corners on their rolling stock. I refused to pay the extra for first class so they told me to fuck off back to sit on the carpet by the bog. I ended up writing a letter and got a refund.
Why the fuck I'm explaining myself to you I'll never know.

Because you took a stance in one of the saddest episodes of misguided moralizing this forum has ever seen, and your stance seemed to be inconsistent.
I just wanted to make sure you didn't get lost in some moralistic rabbit hole. Cognitive dissonance can suck.
