pound signs in the eyes
didn't trump spend something around £1bn to get the whole golf course hotel etc up and running
some of that must have been bribes -

do us all a favour Norway, and hand over Anders Behring Breivik to the Taliban in Pakistan.. i think a slow painful death or rot in jail is all he deserves.. not TV coverage in court and weak excuses for his actions.. time to HTFU
Bullshit. Depending on your point of view the guy is evil or insane, his ideology and world outlook are deeply flawed, however he is entitled to a fair trial, of course he is guilty, and will spend the rest of his life either in a secure psychological facility or prison. The Norwegian authorities should be admired for sticking to their principles in the face of such a person.

Are they the only options? Well he's been cleared of insanity, so to speak, by the psyches so perhaps they should get a couple of priests in to rid him of the evil.
Or maybe he doesn't particularly mind killing dozens of people at a go, and his deluded world view allowed him to. I guess that's pretty insane, but when it comes to criminal responsibility being a psychopath doesn't really change things. He's in control and willing when he does it.

He hasn't been cleared of insanity at all. He was declared insane in one report, and sane in another, there is a team of psychiatrists in the court watching him and listening to his answers in order to determine his mental state, at the end of the trial they will present their findings to the Judges.
I would argue that if his world view allows him to bypass what conscience he has in order to kill dozens of people then he is either evil or insane.

Freudian slip or cynicism?
Of the two, cynicism, but I would argue pragmatism based on the available evidence.
100 emails released this afternoon by the Leveson enquiry.
I notice all mobile numbers deleted - except one for the Director of Public Affairs
at News Corp- whoops.
Michel left in February, so there would be no reason to redact his number.
- whoops.

So you think he's wrong? I also think he's wrong.
-
• #14811
Of course he is wrong. It would also be wrong to suspend the judicial process in the face of such a person.
-
• #14812
Yes it would be wrong, would that make it evil, to let him off easy? or just wrong? Evil is a very unproductive concept, best left out of justice I think. But maybe I'm wrong/evil.
-
• #14813
It is left out of justice. To my knowledge no law court is required to pass judgement on whether or not a defendant is evil, just if he is guilty or not of the crime they are accused of, and in certain cases the role their sanity has played in their actions.
How is evil an unproductive concept, if a person goes through life wilfully inflicting pain, suffering, or death on other people what does that make them if not evil? A very naughty boy?
Maybe you are, I have never met you other than online so could not say. :P

Yes, You've been Trumped. The way he bought Aberdeen Council is shocking. One councillor vetoed the vote and was sacked. His argument that it will create jobs and improve the economy is BS. The jobs are all McJobs and the kind of people that golf course will pull in will just fly in, play and fly out again....
He's a cunt pure and simple

"The body of Williams, a keen cyclist and fell walker, was found on 23 August 2010, eight days after he was last seen shopping in the West End on a CCTV camera. His laptop had been used to access a cycling site in the early hours of 16 August."

There's a pic of him on a an Eddy Merckx with pursuit bars IIRC.

Channel 4 did a report on the story last night. No Eddy Merckx but close-ups on the padlock -as they still seem to imply that he may have been able to lock himself which would be even better than Houdini had ever done. They also had a 3-D film of his flat.
I think Murdoch and Hunt did it.

As he is a spy and most likely killed by another spy or somekind of professional. Surely any DNA and other fragments of evidence foudn at the scene could have all been planted?
Plus you can't really trust the police in these situations either, there is a whole lot of bent coppers in the force at all levels.

He probably tried to stiff someone on the price of an arrospok
or maybe he crossed the 5th floor crew -

Locking someone in a holdall and leaving minimal forensic evidence would imply that whoever it was possesses a modicum of intelligence and finesse, these are not qualities associated with a group of grown men who pass their time pulling wheelies in a car park, or d-locking someone else's bike in order to give them a kicking.

Bobbo, i respect you opinion regarding the norwegian mass murder trial.
some parts of the world do it differently.. fair trial or not he is milking the attention
which frankly he doesn't deserve, it's all ego. those responding to this tragic event
are being hauled through the dock too..
There's a good documentary on that whole thing, the local police and councilors were very complicit in Trumps plans, they were all luring eachother.
