Fantasy chat: well done @Pasty_Spumante, runaway winner in the end. Really thought you'd get the magical 1000pts this week, but just shy.
Top fun, was nice to have a vested interest in all the games.
Although it took me until R5 to realise what the super sub was! -

Lowe was dropped yesterday for just that reason. Lucky that Stockdale was fit. Although I would have loved to have seen more of Larmour.

Looked like Sexton was holding him down and he lost it when he couldn’t get up. Should have been yellow for Sexton (cynical offence a yard out) and red for Genge. I’m convinced Gauzerre didn’t refer it because of Sexton’s previous form for moaning. Didn’t even vaguely change the result. So the debate either way is all academic. He’ll probably hear from the citing commissioner on Monday. I’d be surprised and a bit disappointed at the process if not.

Genge has an anger management problem and needs much more support than he has been getting.
-

Lowe shouldn’t ever be seen in green again, he’s not an international class player. Cost us two games as he can’t tackle. Also, rubbish hair.

Cheers @DethBeard - not gonna lie, I was bit gutted but it's by own fault for picking 4 England players who achieved less than 50pts combined!!!! Yes, it's a nice way of paying a bit more attention to the games and performances and having a go at different approaches. Yes, the Supersub...I always thought I was clever putting a starting fly-half or winger on the bench then realised the sub outside back who comes on against Italy for 15 mins and gets an intercept try can score 100 points!! I mean, with Jalibert going off after 25 mins on saturday I assume Ntamack triple points supersub would've been 150+.
Oh well, I very much look forward to same time next year -
cheers all for joining and the craic

Thanks for organising and well played.

Cheers for organising sadly after the first couple of weekends I didn't have the time to be on the forum so forgot about the fantasy rugby. Sometimes I fucking hate being a "grown up" and having responsibilities.

cheers, and @Bobbo. My third year doing it so I've learned the most important thing is to insist on 15 minutes on Saturday morning to check the team sheets and make sure your 15 players are playing! Same time next year - well, Lions chat???? Based on 6N performances, how on Earth can any England players be assured of their place in the test team? I think Itoje is a special player who'll start BUT he has been absolutely outperformed by a number of competitors (a few of his stats make terrible reading). How can H Watson, Stander and Tipuric not start in the back row? How can Faz be anywhere near the starting XV? So, following on from last week.
- W. Jones
- K Owens
- T Furlong
- T Beirne
- I Henderson
- J Tipuric
- H Watson
- CJ Stander
- R Webb
- J Sexton
- D VD Merwe
- R Henshaw
- G North
- L Rees-Zammit
- S Hogg
R Sutherland, Z Fagerson, G Turner, M Itoje, T Faletau, A Price, F Russell, L Williams
I mean, seriously - from England; i'd say that combining form, potential and history, these players should tour but struggle make an argument for any more, ahead of other home nations players.
Sinkler, Itoje, Curry, Simmonds, A Watson (Tuilagi if fit and sure Faz will tour given his previous tours and favour with Gats) - W. Jones

but was a stand out performer in the October internationals and possibly (???) made the most meters of any Ireland players this tournament....agree his defence is very awkward and liable to cost you a game; oh, yeah, the hair too. Fair point
edit: just seen Ellis Genge 'roughing up' of Jonny Sexton - unsavoury to say the least!

Come on Scotland!

• #3864
Amen - points-fest upcoming

• #3865
Come on France
-
• #3866
France struggled exiting their 22 after restarts in the first half last week. Disappointing it seems to be the same this week
-
• #3867
Wayne Barnes is having a shocker
-
• #3868
Strange decision from Scotland not to take the penalty I thought, but that backhanded offload from Finn Russell just now was absolutely ridiculous.
-
• #3869
That red was very harsh in my opinion. It looked like he went for the fend with this hand leading, Dulan came in too high and his hand went for Dulan's shoulder, but because the France player was too high in the tackle he went straight into Russell's forearm.
-
• #3870
Brilliant, pure class from Scotland at the end.
-
• #3871
Except France gifted them a penalty when the clock was red. Why chase the bonus point at that point?
-
• #3872
Dulan always plays that way, so it's hardly a suprise. Scotland made that field position in the first place after a great turnover from a Teddy Thomas counter attack on the halfway line, and still had to finish it off in any case. They deserved to win I thought.
-
• #3873
Sure, Scotland definitely deserved to win, but they wouldn’t have against any other team in that situation. France can be infuriating.
-
• #3874
Eddie Jones given the full support from RFU, and continuing as England head coach.
hahahahaha!

"Chaps, have we got anyone else?"
"No."
"Ok. Pass the claret..."
Good mix of old and new in the squad, thought the front row would suffer when Best retired, nope, they look fantastic. Bringing O'Connell in as a coach, blinding move.
Only one that I'm not sure of is the new winger (dude with the hair - Lowe?), his defence seems weak.
