Selle San Marco Regal was ok for quick store runs and what not, but was uncomfortable in the racing position after long ride. Now on a Romin Comp Gel, WOW, not sure if they get any better than these saddles. Although I do want to try a Selle SMP.

Arione. Love it. Then I tried the versus. Loved it even more. Got back on my old Arione and FUCK! How did I ever ride with that? Ooof my gooch. Versus FTW. Waiting to buy another one soon.

Replace the words 'the Versus' with 'my old SLR Gel Flow' and that's my Arione experience too. You either need a cutout/channel, or you don't. I definitely do.

Highly impressed.
Thanks :)

High recommend charge spoon, super cheap and super comfortable

^In my experience, only in a very upright riding position. Fine for a hybrid commuter, awkward for anything with a more aggressive stance.

I've finally settled on a number of different Selle Italias. The SLC, SLR Flow and the SLR Teknoflow (which is easily my favourite as it has the biggest hole for my knackers)
It's annoying that the one I prefer is also the most expensive.

Do you put your knackers through the hole?
-
• #964
You probably could if you tried, the SLR Tekno Flow is like a toilet seat.

Is that for someone who has problematic arse grapes?

Great saddle... arse grapes or not.

Or a hoop injury?

I'd previously been a Romin lover, tried the Superflow on my winter road bike and thought I liked it a bit more than the Romin. Then because of some mechanicals and whatnot, spent the last 2.5 months exclusively on that bike and the Superflow. Last week I got my other bikes back in action. After two days of commuting 22 miles/1 hour twice a day back on a Romin my arse was a smashed up, swolen mess of saddle sores. Not sure if it's just readjusting or what, but it could prove pricey if I can't get back on with the Romins, given that I have them on 4 of my 5 bikes.

Has anyone tried the new flite?
-
• #971
Yeah, I think I posted my thoughts upthread somewhere. It's a nice saddle but it's pretty expensive and it didn't feel much like a Flite to me. It felt more like an SLR. Slightly too flexy for my liking.
My brother has it on his Planet-X now and he seems to be getting on well with it (he was used to using a Turbo on his commuter).

Which Saddle - Which Arse?

Sounds great to me.
I like my slr flow carbonio for being flexy but it's even more expensive.
If the new flite feels like slr flow then i want to try it.
Give me a shout if your brother doesn't get on with it. -

That's good to know, I'm trying to get back on this plastic saddle lark, and trying to find one that offer a lots of flex like a leather saddle.

Apparently Fizik Kurve is suppose to feel like a leather saddle - you can even regulate the tension.
Not for me though.
What is that wooden business I see in the first picture?
