Probably made in the same factory as Spesh saddles, they have a bunch of stuff you can bolt under yer bum.
Edit: Google prologo saddle light. -

Yep, the gel one, it’s a bit like a Flite but with a very slightly broader nose. Works well for shorter rides. I tend to run it about 3mm forward of my usual saddle.

I have done some more research and found this:
The Prologo saddle light thing is actually another system that attaches to the top with a clip.
The Specialized SWAT system is actually 60mm apart and fixed with M5 bolts.
Bontrager actually also have a system, mate that works at a Trek store will check dimensions of that. But looks like it is also fixed with M5 bolts.
This will be something proprietary that I just can’t seem to find. Might need to contact Prologo about it directly.

Seems odd that they supply the saddle with threads but don't stock stuff to bolt to it (just looked at their website). Like you say, stuff they make just clips on.
I'm intrigued (and a bit sad), let me know what you discover. -

whats a selle smp composit with padding called?

I've been using the dirt cheap £35 Selle Italia Model X Superflow from Condor which is the cheapest Power-type stubby saddle and is manufactured without glue, environmentally friendly and recyclable.
Haven't seen it mentioned on here yet but it's quite a remarkable thing for the money

Selle Italia Model X Superflow
Interesting. How are bibs holding up? Reviews seem to mention that they eat bibs at the transition from saddle base to the upper.

Haven't seen those comments but yes there is a definite edge there but hadn't noticed bib destruction

anyone got any alternatives to a c17? really any nice looking saddles in the 160mm range.
i like the c17 - but not enough to spend another £80 on one if there is something nice for like....£30-40
it's also a bit weighty
i should get the brand x saddle really, that was alright - that's the 140 something range?
for an upright position if that helps

I have one of these waiting to go back to wiggle. It's very firm, gave me turbocharged saddle sores

I really like the 155cm Fabric saddles. Radius should be the right profile if you are looking for an upright position. They are lighter than the c17 and I find have more useable seating positions. They can be found quite often on eBay around £30.

this looks ideal really - one on CRC for 35 - will put it on the list

I've had a Model X for my touring commuter, but it ate through a new-ish pair of jeans in just under 3 months. Was comfortable but the grippy rubberlike surface is overkill for commuting.

Prologo came back to me saying there has been a delay in devlopment due to covid, but something is coming. No feedback on when and what exactly, but I suspect it will be just a type of multimount bracket. Probably with Topeak as that partnership is already in place?

Cheers for the update. I can sleep easier now.

Stationary/indoor/peloton.whatever bikes:
Do normal saddle rules apply? I've got one on the way that comes with some big squidgy thing.
Just seen a Fabric Radius (which I get on well with on my gravel bike) cheap so I was thinking of grabbing that for it. -
• #1543
The bike doesn't move around underneath you like out on the road, it is more uncomfortable for longer periods of time. I would say if you're speccing a 100% trainer bike, I'd go for something slightly more padded
-
• #1544
Yeah this is for an actual stationary bike (as opposed to a proper bike on a turbo or similar) so only going to be used in situ.
Okay cheers, so don't take the SLR off my track bike to use on it? :-D
I reckon I'll see how the squidgy monstrosity is and go from there. -
• #1545
I've never bothered with a different saddle for my bike on the turbo but I can't do more than an hour before discomfort whereas I can ride for 4 or 5 hours outdoors on the same saddle.
So the SLR is probably fine for 30 minute sessions, give it a go -
• #1546
In all likelihood I’ll be using this for when I don’t have time for a proper ride, so it’ll be <1hr rides for the most part.
I’ll grab the Fabric as it’s cheap. It’s probably lighter, too, which will make me faster…
No one give me any conflicting advice now or I’ll be forced to flip flop again!

Is the Charge Spoon still the go-to budget saddle for upright position riding? (CX bike with MTB risers on it)
Thanks

If anyone is wondering if the titanium railed Spa Nid is a good substitute for a Brooks Swallow, I've been running one for a year on my gravel bike.
It broke in almost immediately and has been super comfortable on rides out beyond 12 hours in all weathers.
It was a bit "orange" out of the box, but with regular Brooks saddle treatment and natural weathering, has become a lovely natural honey colour, very similar to any Brooks saddle, so I'd give it a resounding thumbs up.
I swapped out my Prologo Scratch for an SLR test and found these two holes at the underside of the Prologo, M4 thread and 55mm apart.
Anyone know what these are for? Looks like it could be able to mount some kind of bracket for a light or whatever. But the internet is not spewing any usable results (or my search skills are too weak)
