I thought TFG had/sold SAG stuff, can't see anything online at the moment, might be worth dropping them an email.

Not quite the right place, but seems better than any.
I saw someone the other day with a small courier style bag... but it was *really *small. Around 2ft X 1ft (I think).
Anyone got any ideas what it was?

Limited?

Could be a North Face one, they make some tiny bags

Good chance of it being a Resistant if it was in London and on a hipsters back...I think Tokyo fixed still import them.

Cheers.
It was kinda like this:
but made out of htis material I think:
The guy wasn't a hipster. He was rocking a specialized cx bike with squeely brakes, Rapha top and endura legins.
The thing that appealed about the bag is very often I'm just carrying a lock and not much else, so having a small one kinda appealed. But it needs to be long enough, rather than just small.
In some ways it reminds me of the summit bag on my macpac. But with a proper shoulder strap.
Anyway I think I might have found a cheap one that seems small. Just not really sure if it's upto much... or as small as I'm after.

I'm looking for a cheap bag with quick adjust strap and compression straps and found this on Chain Reaction:
It looks like just what I'm after (well it will be once I transfer the shoulder padding onto it from my current bag) but wondered if anyone has used it or seen it in the flesh?

Don't know if any of you guys can take advantage of this but Pac is ebaying a black ultimate bag starting at $129.99CAN which is dirt cheap, although there ia currently 1 bidder. I got mine this way(mind you I'm Canadian in Canada) for $215(the min. bid) with no competing bids. Again, I apologize if theres no way for any of you to get it but just thought I'd give you the heads up because that is a deal. Funny thing is I don't live in London nor ride a fixie but was a courier here and think this is one of the better forums out there. My ride is an old '92 Rocky Mountain Team Comp w/ Tange Ultimate Ultralight tubing rigid with narrow slicks but ,to me, any bike is great as long as you ride, its all good!

Glad to see my new bag not on the (il-informed) fail list.
Banjo Brothers large messenger bag (From Urban Hunter). Been using it all week and am suitably impressed. My one gripe is that I could do with being slightly taller which would make the bag fit my back.
Two family trips to the pool:3 large towels, shampoos, trunks and cossies all fit comfortably with plenty of room to add shopping on the way home.
3 trips to the beach - More than capable of returning most of said beach back to my living room carpet.
.The the time has come to lay the banjo to rest.
Very well constructed and has served we well over the past two and a bit years.
Daily commute to work and back with a beinn 20 strapped to it.
Very impressive performance for the money.Lets see how my new bagaboo gets on.

Bagaboo FTW!

They look pretty good, did you go for a custom bag? They seem reasonably priced, just specced a large messenger bag up for €145 which is pretty good considering the size and its custom made.

If I lived across the pond, I'd likely go for a Bagaboo. They have many of the features that my Pac bag has but for much cheaper, plus they give you lots of option to customize for very reasonable prices. they use all quality brand name materials and include many things others would charge for. I like the external back pad more than Pac's internal one-less likely to slide about and more effective. They look sweet too. I have heard some rare complaints-from messengers mind you- about durability but then I've heard complaints regarding durability about nearly every bag, including Pac, because couriers are hell on bags.

No, just the standard. First impressions are very good.
Urban Hunter were a pleasure to deal with as always.

I'm liking the look of some of the inside line stuff:
Not sure I've seen them mentioned on here. If you have a contact in the USA to ship to, Huckberry has them on some good deals.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested but I have a R.E.Load Messenger Bag (Civilian) for sale and although I can't post the advert right now (nifty nursery period thing hehe) I thought I might as well post here and see if there's any interest :). I do have it listed on another forum and can link to the post if anyone is interested, but I will be deleting that post soon as it wouldn't be right advertising in two areas really!
Thanks for reading and be sure to tell me if this post isn't allowed - I'm not 100% sure! -

I've been using one of these: (Ergon Bc2) for a couple of months.
Got it 'cos it was pretty cheap (£85 new) and i've got a dodgy back.
Pretty impressed. It keeps the weight really low and you hardly feel it at all.
It keeps a lot of the pack off your back so hopefully it won't pong as much as every other pack i've used on the bike.
It also gives your shoulders much more freedom to move.
The only real downside is it doesn't have a huge capacity. And I wouldn't have paid the £125+ they seem to sell for.
(Swinnerton Cycles had a sale on them but seem to have sold out now) -

If a tight budget constrains you, Banjo Brothers makes a decent line of bags. My Large Messenger Bag has held up well over three months of all-day, all-conditions abuse. Worth the $50 dollars indeed.

I'd still be game for taking that off your hands. It was for my mrs rather than for me.
So the HK$1,100.oo translates to £91.00, and thats before shipping and any customs or duty charges. So lets say its £150 at the top end, and £100 at the bottom end. Clearly you like colourful bags, with logos and nice detailing. Here are my recommendations then:
