Smart R1 rear according to my research. Evans price matching Wiggle your best bet.
I'd double your spend for a country road front, buy a cheapo "seen" and a quality "see".

^^ Depends on the roads and conditions, 100% with the opinion on the front or you'll end up riding in your own shadow or a ditch when cars are behind + more light the earlier you pick up potholes etc and the faster you can ride. Aim for something with a decent bit of flood as well as spot. I ride on some national speed limits, treated like drag strips, and some 40s treated like national speed limit so for the rear I opt for something powerful on a solid light and then have another cheaper light on flash to draw the eye.
Ayup twin on front + lezyne micros and rear lezyne rechargeable unit on solid on seat post then fibre flare on bag.

Cheers guys. Cateye TL-LD610 and Moon 5.0 it is. I have two cheap front lights I use for commuting. I'm always on well lit up roads. The front light was for the occassional night ride like the DD etc. I'd never be alone but i can't simply rely on a leader seeing for me.

Just given my Moon Mask a first run out. It is really bright for a very dinky light. The attachment to the bracket isn't totally convincing and what negative reviews is does get are generally because that teeny screw has sheared off. Still, it's holding on mine. The strobe mode is bonkers though. When would you ever use it?

Moon Meteor owners; any of you run a Meteor with a wireless computer? My Smart Lunar 35 interrupts the signal and I'm looking to get a Meteor and don't want the same problem.

No, I was implying that the light's design is not distinctive and lacks features which might suggest it isn't available under 10 different brand names via dealextreme.

^^^
6 x 18650 battery, each one is: 1200mAH, total 7200mAH full capacity.
Not a deal-breaker but worth noting.
Have you used these U2 leds? How do they compare to Cree P7s or T6s?
5000 is a whole lot of LMs!

unlikely, the packaging on mine says 1500 and that might be too much.
I think the blackburn fleas have notoriously poor reliability... and a lifetime guarantee but only if you can be bothered to send it back.
