Yeah I did, but ghost rode the spare bike.

Or a single speed descend, swap wheel over on flip flop, change to fixed for the ascend, could be like a pit stop

Beemer doesn't have drum brakes, but the heavy braking for the speedbumps did give me quite a lot of travel on the pedal and a fair bit of fade.
