and...^^^more rep!
Also Stringer's mate Michael should set a Death TT time - if he can descend as quickly as he climbs he could be in the medals.
Hmm...idea for an Olympics themed Norths TT/ series of events?

Be like the Birdman event but for the death TT

Has anyone done a 2 bike Death TT?
Geared descent for super speeds, then strategically placed fixed to swap to for (potentially) quicker ascent?

Yeah I did, but ghost rode the spare bike.

Or a single speed descend, swap wheel over on flip flop, change to fixed for the ascend, could be like a pit stop

Death TT...
...you know it makes sense!

I call shotgun for the side car.
Which reminds me, we should add Ed's tandem to the list, going down West Hill on the back of that is high on the list of most terrifying things I have ever done.

I forgot about that sidecar action. Guess I can't sell the BMX.

Archway, so much wind noise, Ed shouting:
I think the drum brake has overheated. Let's hope the lights at the bottom are green!

This was also shouted in the Beemer.
-
• #20788
Beemer doesn't have drum brakes, but the heavy braking for the speedbumps did give me quite a lot of travel on the pedal and a fair bit of fade.
-
• #20789
Fade? Sure it wasn't just the loss of servo assist when you turned the engine off downhill to save petrol?

You don't need to buy a complete, you can just buy kits that bolt on to regular BMX.
We know. Looked into it a few times last year.
-
• #20792
Well pull your finger out and buy one!
-
• #20793
You paying?
-
• #20794
Swap it for a pedal spanner?
-
• #20795
When frame&forks sell, I'll put half into a pot to save for that BMX sidecar.
-
• #20796
How much are they?
-
• #20797
£175
£115 without:
Wheel
Fitting kit
Paint
AND footplate doesn't come mounted -
• #20798
Me and Photoben should put in a trike lap as well.

Obviously one would want to use a high spec pogo stick which, as I'm sure you are aware, use a water filled damping mechanism to modulate the energy release on the up-spring. The most common tweak to increase the speed of the pogo stick is to lower the specific gravity of the damping fluid, this is done by adding salt or "brining" as it is know as by pogoistas.
Ah, the explanations are getting wigglier and wigglier, sort of like Paul Sussman in the Big Issue circa 1998. :)
as it is know as
And you were doing so well. :)

Was it really worth chilling with Cadel, Philippe, George, Thor etc over Oliver? I doubt it
No definitely not (sorry Oliver, no offence like) but I got back on Mon so coulda, woulda, shoulda, etc.
In other news that Gilbert is pretty damn swift and Big George's legs are minging...
Somebody is defo bored at work
