It was probably the chicken.

Considering how I felt when I left Big Red, it was somewhat miraculous that I didn't join Matt going over crouch hill. Definitely the chicken though.

Hacksawed the lower half of my brake bridge and the 35 is on. There's about 2mm max clearance at both the seat stays and the chain stays but it rolls. Shit looking job mind, and I can't be arsed to tidy it up. My awful bike just got a load worse. Hell yeah!

As I was doing it I was thinking of getting the nitromors on the frame to create another look for the shitheap. I'm thinking I'll wait until most of the stickers have died but now I've had the idea it's likely to be sooner rather than later.

Then I'll sticker it again. It'll be like having a new bike every few months. Except it definitely isn't new and will never have that new bike feel. Hmmm, new bike....

Yeah, feels like riding through slush with this thing. I'm thinking low 60s.

Surprised me a little how much grip you get from a big fuck off soft tyre when trying to skid stop quickly. Nearly highsided earlier as it virtually stopped dead sideways.

I'm quite happy that a part on my bike came from a field. Virtually organic, don't you know.

That's 64ish isn't it? Sounds like what I'm aiming for. I never need to be anywhere in a hurry so may even go lower. Hoping to find a 19, 20 & 21 cog at the jumble or via kind donation soon so I can decide.
