A guy at work has just brought a bike in that was dumped on his allotment. It's a shitter but has a relatively new 700x35 marathon plus on it. Time to get the grinder out on my brake bridge methinks.

Not sure I can handle the noise though.

Are you confident with this combination? Should the local hospital be put on major incident alert?

Just put it on my deep zero and it looks fucked up. Can't even get it close to fitting in and I'm guessing the whole brake bridge will have to go to stand a chance. Think I'll leave it until I'm more alert before operating potentially lethal machinery.

Camden start point, cycle up north and do a reverse Death TT (up Swains Laine, down wests), first one to dock back in at Camden is the winner.

Though might need to recover from Tuesday first.

Hacksawed the lower half of my brake bridge and the 35 is on. There's about 2mm max clearance at both the seat stays and the chain stays but it rolls. Shit looking job mind, and I can't be arsed to tidy it up. My awful bike just got a load worse. Hell yeah!

nice TT for what I saw of it, surely doing it in the light is easier than in the dark? time penalties all round me thinks...

p.s. you'll be happy to hear I got to stop on the way home to be sick. yaaay. I may as well drink....
