• #6906
that guy was having a session before me, the work is pretty astounding in real life.
-
• #6907
It's incredible work.
I'm planning for a big torso piece from Maxime after the summer.
Well excited! -

Getting my knee smashed in an hour! Excited.
-
• #6909
..hahaha!
Enjoy! : D
-
• #6910
It turns out my knee cap is too knobbly for anything symmetrical, I'm currently getting my knee ditch stabbed instead. Ow.
-
• #6911
Knee ditch hurts.
-
• #6912
2 hours done, 4 hours to go, I'll post photos when I a) wash the carbon off and b) work out how to photograph the back of my own knee.

6 hour sitting can >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I did 5 and a half once on my arm, fucking awful.
-
• #6914
Be cool to see what you've been inflicted with itc.
I never had longer than 3.5 hours until I started on my sleeves. Kate charges a day rate so it works out that if you can sit for more than 4.5 hours you save money. 8 hrs has been longest so far and then I would've been fine to carry on, but she had to go. That said 4hrs on my right arm was really tough.
I've worked it out though. I had one drink the night before. Usually I abstain the day before. It seems to really make a difference to pain threshold to me.

Only 2 hours today, I got the outline and the bit right in the ditch out of the way so the next sitting should be much easier. I feel like I could have gone for a lot longer, maybe another couple of hours but she had to pick her nipper up.
8 hours is flipping forever! My longest is about 3 and a half. -

im also a fan of stand alone geometrics dimi. tomas tomas has a less detailed style but creates amazing work, so you could try him or matt black does some nice, detailed geometric work.
No idea how easy it is to get tattooed by him these day but Xed Le Head at Devine Canvas is one of the best in the world for that kind of stuff. Tomas Tomas' work is awesome too.
Nice idea Dimi.
It's Nigel but you will have to wait for at least a year. I just had my side from hip to shoulder done by him. Will have to send you pics in couple weeks. Had dot work done on my thigh by Matt while he was still in New Wave. Try him now works in Divine Canvas.Ive been getting inked by Matt for about the last 5yrs on and off I can highly reccommend his work, if your looking for dot/geo work Matt is your man getting inked by Xed is not so easy he has a huge client list, which he opens from time to time, but mainly to folks he has got to know over time, still head to there and say Hi there are a whole host of other very talented artists at Divine Canvas, they have awesome tunes and a really good atmosphere to get inked in

A really terrible photo, I didn't manage to get all the carbon off either.
-
• #6918
Love that. Will look great finished. Curious. Does dotwork usually take longer to do and does it hurt more or less?
-
• #6919
It took fucking forever! It didn't seem to hurt as much on the bits that weren't right in the ditch, I might just get all the rough bits hand poked, ha ha.
-
• #6920
That's really cool, I love it!
-
• #6921
I'll try and get a decent photo tomorrow.
-
• #6922
I sort of wish she'd finished the session with it looking symmetrical, ha ha. Especially because I definitely can't afford another session any time soon.
-
• #6923
It was to ensure further business..
-
• #6924
I'll just get a guitar string an a fountain pen cartridge and polish it off myself I reckon.
