According to the metro today Harry Styles of tabloid favourite, pop music fame has a new butterfly tattoo courtesy of... Liam Sparkes.

thanks to having a younger cousin i know that he is a boyband type.

i Googled his name, i think i have heard the name one direction before but I've never heard their music. he must be their "rebellious" one (along with the square one, sporty one, introspective one, etc model that every boyband seems to follow). Still surprised that he'd end up at liam sparkes though.

he seemed to like the slightly intimidating hardcore persona which will now be replaced by harry style fans wanting tattoos from him

Harry Styles was at the Alibi a few weeks ago. The queue for the last weekend has been ridic but that may be as much down to Efes' licensing issues

The PR team for 1direction are probably well aware of the fact there are a lot of 'hip' fans of the band - sad but true.
Getting tattooed by one of the coolest tattooers in the country is probably a similar move.

I doubt this was a PR stunt from Liam, but if he makes more money/gets more bookings off the back of it, then all the best to him. I think it's great that an artist like that can get the recognition their work deserves.

Will his prices increase? I wouldn't think so, that would be based on shangri la anyway. Certainly a tattoo costs a lot more from him now, than when I got mine done in his bedroom.
