  • Any recommendations for a Berlin studio to do this well?

    http://akaberlin.com/

  • Not sure if anyone is on Twitter but I would recommend it if you want to get in early with tattoo artists with long waiting lists. Valerie has had numerous cancellations in the last few weeks. Has a full day cancellation for 30th July if anyone is interested.

  • at Frith street? i guess?
They post a lot of their cancellations on twitter, usually get filled within a few minutes but better than a 9month+ wait

  • I'ld thought I'd ask here first, despite it concerning Berlin tattooists..

    I'ld like to get this:

done on my inner upper left arm. from pit to elbow. It'll need to be simplified a bit, but the idea is clear.. Any recommendations for a Berlin studio to do this well?

Wouldn't that lose definition rather quickly?

  • shouldn't do, if done with enough skill. finding someone with enough skill and then praying they pull it off is another matter. that's a lot of straight fine lines

  • Guy Let Tattooer seems very appropriate...

  • That are my concerns indeed, that's why I'ld like to discuss it with the tattooer. It's probably to many lines, I'll leave it to the man in charge to alter it for success.. It's the idea of the abstraction that I like, and the use of only lines to create depth. I don't want it to become a black blot..
Thanks Eingang, I seem to remember you mentioning them earlier, work looks good and they're about 300m from where I live.. I'll print it out and pop in and have a chat..:)

  • That's nasty.

  • Awfully shit

  • Why would someone suffer an injury for a depiction of an injury?

  • Agreed. Thumbs down. Awful stuff.

  • not to mention the "patriottic" act of the flag showing under it, be it irish or italian..

  • I'm not a fan either!

  • A couple from Bone House FB page I liked

  • Any recommendations for someone who has skill at old Norse or celtic work?

  • Len Levin....although nice, blatant copy of Thomas Hooper's style

  • Going to disagree - their styles overlap, neither of the two did invent these 'styles' really.
Both tattoo pretty good in my opinion.

    Gerhard Wiesbeck

  • Weird, I posted styles like this ^ a couple of years ago on here and everyone was like BORING, now you guys like it? o.O

  • Pino

  • Chris Paez

  • What's a decent brand of tattoo gun? I'm toying with the idea of investing in some gear and blacking in an arm, is it possible to fuck this up with no prior tattooing experience (have plenty but never held the gun). Thanks

  • Man if you let me watch I'll buy the damn gun!
