That's very nice. Adding any colour or would that be sacrilege?

Not sure about the lifespan, have never seen aged tattoos from that guy.
I think it will hold up rather well, because the shading is done via a lot of single dots,
but I really am no expert on the matter.
I think you could 'sharpen up' something like a tribal tattoo that has blurred (by re-doing it, basically),
but I'm pretty sure there is no way to 'sharpen' something like the above. -

Thanks. I think it would be a shame to add colour, I guess its not what the original artist would have intended. I have 3 large colour pieces elsewhere and 2 (now 3) other monocolour so it ties in quite nicely (well i think so anyway, and I couldn't give a rats ass what anyone else does)

my little brother went to a tattooist in bristol to talk about getting a peacock tattoo, he took a pic for a rough guide but the tattooist said 'it ws too detailed, any chance of getting a more cartoony picture?'
suffice to say he walked out.on a lighter note, here is my weekly Peter Lagergren i like
(i will get over to Sweden one day and get one by him)

Francesca de Angelis. Her colour work is mostly unimpressive, but I love her tiki designs.

I'm not impressed with the position of the script below the wheel.

^ & it's written really badly... why go to the trouble of guild-lines & then ignore kerning or weight.

Been painting/drawing a lot recently. Thoroughly enjoyable
My new one done on my recent trip to Thailand. Wanted to go to Wat Bang Phra to the temple for a proper Bamboo tat, but got smashed drunk on the Khao San road the night before and slept right through. It was my last day there so I thought I'd make up for it with a nice little traditional Thai demon warrier. Sorry for the shit phone pic but the second image is from the page of the book i chose it from. Something about an ancient battle or something.... ANyway.. I'll shut up now.
