Been doing some paintings of my own recently, in a kind of traditional style, thought i'd drop them here.
Critique welcome. Only really started using paints a few weeks back, kinda getting to grips with it... I think.

Nicely done JorD - to expand on the shading comments, the shading on the eagle is too 'metallic' on the wing feathers and wing top, sits a bit oddly with the other shading if that makes sense, a great start tho!!
