Peckham's been going that way for 10 years or more, when it was voted London's most creative enclave or something equally unquantifiable, it's between two art schools after all

There's a way to control this, and it involves things that won't happen in our lifetimes; the dissolving of buy to let, rent control, a concerted house building effort, long term assured tenancies....

Or a riot. A riot of comfortably-off white middle-class long term Brixton residents appalled at the influx of overpaid hipsters. We'd loot Body Shop, Marks and Spencer and that new cheese shop that's opened in Market Row. Soon our compadres in Shoreditch, Hackney, Peckham and Bromley would be joining us.

Can I join in? I need to riot into Boots to get some shampoo.

I fucking love the gentrification of Brixton. My flat has gone up in value by around £25k since I bought it 2.5 years ago, andI live in Bristol now (as it's about a million times better than London in every way) so I don't have to deal with the new wave of white middle class tools everybody is moaning about so much.
